Employers that screw you over?

I hate this...I am working for a market research agency, and they ask me to book several days off from my regular work @ Starbucks to go work for them. I half heartedly agree because I'm not all into market research. So I book off yesterday and today, and guess what, they say: "We actually have too many people on right now, cancel these two day, and we'll see if we can put you in next week." you know what??? SCREW YOU! I book days off and I loose money...I swear, that really pisses me off. Next time, I should just tell them to f*ck off...

Lie Ins RULE

So I set my alarm to wake up at 9AM and guess what time it is now...10:45AM WTF?! I dunno why, but lie ins feel so freakin good. I go to university and I HATED an 8:30 morning class, even when living on campus. But whatever, you still need to learn. Now it is summer and all I do is sleep! no matter what time I go to bed, I'll sleep-in till about 10 till 11! I guess I'm just lazy...

Do marketing researchers piss you off?

Well guess what? They do! Ironically, I am one of them. I work as a market researcher, asking people what they want from a product/mall/store. I am the jerk that stops you in the middle of the freakin day asking "Hi, would you like to do a survey?" I'm pretty sure you are already wanting to strangle my neck and kick my ass to the curb. You know what? I AM LIKE THAT TOO! I can't believe my summer job is being the guy that everyone hates in their shopping experience. But just so you guys know, we make good money (for a student) and its US who give you guys what you want. See, without us, you get completely crappy and low grade products because you didn't give your input to the people who are designing your mall, so next time, drop by and give them your freakin 5 minutes to do a survey1

Disappointed with Harry Potter's latest film?

I was so damn disappointed with this latest movie featuring Harry Potter. Don't get me wrong, I'm not some nutter who completely knows everything in the Potter world, but I have read the book and am just slightly pissed at how different the movie was from the book. The movie felt rushed, with no explaination for many events, including, Hagrid getting sacked, what happens to Cho, and the trouble continually caused by the Weasly twins. Those were just a few core examples of what I didn't like about the movie. However, I do applaud how well the movie engrossed the audience with its quirky jokes and humorous tidbits. As a Potter reader, I can't help but feel how shallow the movie seemed. Perhaps it would be best that the movies were made longer (2hours 20minutes for Order of the Phoenix, compared to roughly 3hours for the Goblet of Fire), with more details included. I just hope that the last two films will be better written and directed than this latest one.
