Movie just ended. Signed right into the PSN and the date still said 2-28. I have a fattie to so I guess Im one of the lucky few. Never had problems with Heavy Rain either.
What was everybody else out there playing when this happened? I was playing Heavy Rain and it crashed on me last night, crashed on me again today and after that crash that's when the 8001050F error kep persisting. I'm just curious if this is Heavy Rain related because I heard the game was buggy causing many peoples' systems to crash.If not Heavy Rain, were any of you playing any other games when this error happened, did those games crash too, or did you just log in one day to find this error.
I also hear this happened to older "phat" PS3's. I have a 60GB with full BC. Anyone else have this happen on a Slim or emulation BC phat model? Or anyone else out there with phat PS3's that are fine?

there quite possibly r phat ps3's out there that r fine. but u wont hear bout it cos they wont have nethin wrong and not no that this **** is even happening. lol. my guess that ne lucky person wit a phat ps3 that has never taken it online or downloaded the new psn app. wil have no probs and b happily playing their console right now. ... lucky bastards

i tried reseting the firmware ,change the date ,format hard drive and just about everything you can think of and nothin worked ,i would have to say its definetly a hardware issue not a network issue so who the hell knows hop they can fix itwilkster77
i definately agree with this. something is seriously wrong with the psn network program that we have all downloaded onto our systems
