Modern day Anime/manga is kinda lame Rant part 1

Seriously it does. How many anime/manga DON'T involve spiky haired teenage youth battling monsters with magical powers or Gigantic robots. Or how many anime/manga have you seen that DOSEN'T Involve gratuitous Perverted jokes?! How many manga/anime have you seen that are actually ORIGINAL, y'know like Death Note(which I don't read/watch often), Big O, One Piece or how about BoBoBo, Claymore, Dragonball(Yes I said Dragonball), Hokuto no Ken, Mobile Suite Gundam, Full Metal Alchemist and probably many others I am failing to mention. The whole point is the Manga/anime these days are going down the drain. It's hard not to find as I said earlier a series involving Spiky haired hot tempered youths fighting monsters and what not, now I it's not that I have anything against shounen manga(I'm a huge collecter of it myself) but it's just that most of the more modern day stuff is derritative and lacks true depth. Speaking of lacking depth how about the charecters for most modern day manga/anime. If I could describe them in one word I would choose GENARIC(Sp?). What I mean is how many times have you seen an anime/manga that involves some Spiky haired youth that fights evil with his magical powers along with his crew of genaric friends. Hmm .... BLEACH! NARUTO! The big two that define the word OVERRATED unlike One Piece, FMA, BoBoBo, DBZ, Death Note and many others which manage to be popular and original at the same time. Now some of you may have thought that I didn't know what I was talking about when I mentioned DBZ(The plot actually), now there is a good reason as to why I think DBZ is original. Think of it as a Vanilla Sunday with a few sprinkles and a cherry on top. Now Imagine the begining is the Cherry of the Ice Cream the appetizer of your icecream same applies to DBZ without the beggining saga it's the appetizer we all know and love. Now lets say the sprinkles are the middle of the plot say around the Freeza saga, it was great even if there was little of it like Goku becoming Super Saiajin, Vegetas Death, Vegeta becoming an Ally are like the few tasty sprinkles to the icecream. Now the end would be the Cherry, the grand finale to your Icecream is the body, this would be like Cell Saga and Buu saga, you would think right when DBZ could loose it's spark, you think again now the adventure truley begins. What I'm trying to get at is DBZ may be a simple Icecream Sunday with a Cherry, but it's something that doesn't try to overwhelm you with flavor, like how almost every charecter in Naruto forces their sob stories that nobody wants and manages to be Icecre-er Anime/Manga genius. Whoa I got off topic, but hopefully I made a point. And this concludes Part one of my rant.
