one word Gameflywukepingu
I don't really plan to buy games like the force Unleashed and Mirrors edge due to 15-20 hrs of gameplay but stuff like fallout and fable will most likely have 50+ hrs and tons of replayibility.

Hah. sometimes I feel the exact same way. Seeing at how I can only afford one brand-new game every 6 months, the other games I get are usually 2-4 years old.Slipstream720
Yeah that really stinks, wait till you get a job I guess.

This is definately one of the best times to be a gamer but there is only one problem...Too many games in a really short period.

Aug - Mercs 2; I thought about skipping this but then I actually watched some gameplay vids and I just can't do it.

Sept - Force Unleashed, Silent Hill Homecoming, and spore if you have a pc

Oct - Fable 2, Fallout 3, EndWar, Far Cry 2, Dead Space,

Nov - Left 4 Dead, Gears 2, Mirrors Edge, Prince of Persia, Banjo Kazooie

I'm excited yet depressed I can't afford them all. Saving up for college I can only afford about one game a month. Even this list is really small leaving out music games and other promising titles like project origin. Who can afford a music game for 180 dollars when all this gold is coming out? Back to the main topic is anyone else going to have to choose Fallout 3 over Fable 2 and Far Cry 2? Gears over Banjo and prince...this is VERY depressing. I may skip the month of sept all together but I can't bring myself to skip Mercs; it just looks way to good.

[QUOTE="clicketyclick"]

[QUOTE="raahsnavj"]As for complaining directly with no relation to pointing out other systems, that would be a blog. Maybe we could get the mods to just make a sticky thread on the Wii forum called: "Not enough hardcore games / no new IP's / the hardware sucks doesn't it" where the countless amounts of these threads can get lost to. raahsnavj

If complaining about Wii and its games belongs on a blog, then the opposite must be true as well; praise for Wii and excitement about its games also belongs on the blog. If this were so, then this forum would be awfully barren. Just the way you'd like it I'm sure, traitor!!

Now you are getting it. ;) No the reason you can do endless amounts of praise, and little to no critisism is because what person would come to a Wii forum that wasn't a Nintendo fan? Even I am at some level. People go to familiar places on the web to feel included or safe about their bubble they live in. When people come to complain about their 'bubble' they will get attacked. Now if you have a valid complaint about the 'bubble' by all means say it on the Wii forum. But the complaint about Nintendos E3 showing, it's lack of games etc is not valid in the least. List after list of games that are 'going to be awesome' are posted on each one of these complaint threads. Nintendo appologized themselves for the 'lack' at E3's showing. Hardcore games? refer to list...

Everyone of these complaints has been answered over and over and over. I swear Haziqonfire just has 4 responses he cuts and pastes in at least 10 threads a day. You can tell the people who really care to make a debate about it though, they structure good arguments up-front that can't be destroyed by a simple 'list'. Or if they are debunking an argument they use facts rather than just a 'you're wrong' post. You chose to come to this bubble, live with it, defend with VALID reasons and facts why the bubble is lacking, or find a more comfortable bubble. Anyhow, fun conversation. But I have no ventured into the thoughts of generic forum posting theory and less on the topic at hand...

I come to the Wii bubble often, but I'm a lot less likely to post unless I have something useful to say (or at least appears useful to myself). And forget about attacking nintendo for not giving me everything I have ever wanted from gaming. On provider doesn't work very well for my needs anyhow.

Although I highlight the e3 showing it goes deeper than that...I really want a game coming out that makes me happy I have a wii.

OMG. Suck it up! This thread is completely pathetic. The games are coming. If you were really hardcore you would've dug up all the information that's been posted online.totalmachine
lol, I like how people think someone who makes a vid about how nintendo is doing bad doesnt know what they are talking about. I agree Wario land and mega man are coming out. BUT other than that what other games can honestly stir excitement that are coming out THIS year...As far as Samba and deadly creatures are concerned they are not bound to be even good. They are just hopefuls. There are many on other platforms BOUND to be goold like Banjo, Fallout, Fable, Gears, Far cry and so on....

[QUOTE="Kuhu"]

Tales of symphonia? No? I thought that looked pretty good...

Honestly what did you expect? Another Zelda? Another Mario? Another Metroid?

clicketyclick

How about a new franchise?

Yeah, thats what I thought too. Everyone always begs for a new zelda/metroid. They forget why we loved them in the first place, the brought something fresh and new to the table.

I really shouldn't have put this in the wii forum but is was the only chance for it to not be locked... Too many fanboys and people that will rate it one star for the song choice and not realize the work I put into it...

[QUOTE="linkforever1"][QUOTE="Haziqonfire"]Ok.

That music is horrible. 1/5 stars.

Also -- look beyond first party titles. Christ.
gamer6464

Its just tast, it fit in with the video well, ok. And third Party this year? Madworld isn't even dated, Conduit is '09. And another CoD port. Nty

De Blob?

It looks ok, but nothing huge other than a few positive previews from ign. Compared to the 360s holiday lineup with Far Cry, Fable, Fallout, Gears, 2 square rpgs, Left 4 dead, Prince of Persia, Lord of the Rings conquest, Mirror's edge, Banjo...It seems like de blob and a few other not so stellar titles like clone wars and cod make the wii look pretty bad.

Theres also Samba De Amigo coming out in september, and the 2 sonic games are coming eventually.

Theres alot more good third party support, you just need to do a little research, along with mario baseball and wario land from nintendo.

lol, I know my games. I guess that since I got my 360 I find it harder to look foward to games like samba de amigo, mario baseball and yet another sonic game that is a hit or miss. Wario land looks good but, I really wish there were more of those games that differentiates Nintendo from microsoft. Lately it seems like as far as first party goes the just deliver casual games. The last big game was Smash back in February...I really don't want to wait another 2 years for another great title...I know you will say mario kart too but it wasn't all that great... to casual like the one hit items that both it and smash shares.

Oh, you jumped upon the ignorant E3 bash express. You're so clever. Your emo music sucks, btw.flclempire
I'm not trying to jump any train. It's how I feel so get over it. As far as the music, honestly how old are you? Everyone has different tastes and this song fitted the video, get over it.
