So I've just started watching the 8 Films to Die For from HorrorFest 2007...
I couldn't decide what to watch first so I decided to do them in alphabetical order...
First up was Borderland
I really liked this movie, and based on the description I didn't think I would at all...
It's based on true events and has all the gore of Saw and the sadisticness of Hostel, but better...
The basic plot is 3 friends heading off to college take a trip to a Mexican Border Town and get mixed up in a blood cult lookeing for human sacrifices... I know it sounds lame, but it's not... It's creepy and bloody and well acted... and our favorite Hobbit Sean Astin plays one of the bad guys...
Next up was The Deaths of Ian Stone
This was a good, sometimes slow-paced, thriller... Had an interesting plot... Ian Stone Dies Everyday! He wakes up each day in a new life only to be pursued by unknown killers...
Stars Mike Vogel from Cloverfield and Jaime Murray from Hustle & Dexter... If you like a good suspense thriller... IF you like to try and figure out what's going to happen in movies...Then this is the movie for you!

Onto the ARG...
It's so weird... I found it through a Dollhouse website... many have found it through Fringe websites and a bunch of folks at Microsoft seem to be involved... All I know is I solved the first puzzle and got a password, but nowhere to use it... Yet?
I can't really figure out what this game is really linked to... Or how it ties into Dollhouse at all... but I guess that's the point... to figure it out... but I am so damned impatient :)
I'm not a big gamer... I enjoyed Find815.com... but didn't get into the whole viral thing for Cloverfield or the whysoserious.com thing for Dark Knight... That being said...
If you're interested you can start where I did at this website:
Then you can go here for a pretty good recap of the game so far:
That seems like sufficient yapping for now... Going to start watching American Gothic now...
