I always turned away "classic compilation" games. You know, those games that take a bunch of old games and reformat them for newer consoles. Until now. It had just dawned on me that I have not yet seen any compilations of games from 2 generations ago. No PS1, Saturn, N64, PC-FX, Atmark, or Jaguar games. While game companies have been letting them be available for download, not in compilations. And, really, how hard would it be to put a few games that are, at maximum, 700 MB into a 50, 30, or 12 GB disk? I'm starting to get worried that we may not see compilations of some very good classic games! Imagine the future, being able to play all current [as of today] Zelda or Mario games on a handheld system! Now, it might not happen. Maybe gaming has evolved beyond that, past the need for compilations or remakes. Well, now, I certainly hope not.
