Every now and then, I play a game and I think, "Man, this would be SO much better on [Insert console name here]!" Here's a list of them off the top of my head:
Bangai-O (N64/Dreamcast): Wonderswan Color, or Xbox 360. Why? The game was originally played with a control pad and stick at the same time, and accessing both at the same time while pressing other buttons was very awkward on the N64 and Dreamcast controllers. [The only time when the Dreamcast controller was awkward :p ]
Yoshi Safari(SNES): Nintendo Wii. Why? This one is obvious. It was a super scope game back on the SNES, and only recently with the release of the Wii Zapper would it be a very good time for Nintendo to bring back its little-known gem of a game.
[ANY MMORPG] (PC/Mac/Unix): ANY handheld console. Admit it, it sounds like an awesome idea. Porting any major MMORPG to a handheld console would be a very fun way to play. It's been done before on portable systems, but it's rarely a success, and it's usually just ported to cell phones. If, for example, Trickster Online were ported to the DS or PSP, I wouldget my hands on it the first chance I got! I also just heard that they are porting Ragnarok Online to the DS, so I'm really excited about that. Now, if only I couldmod my DS with an aircard... :D
Hey You, Pikachu! (N64): Nintendo DS. Okay, let's get over the fact that it's such a jeuvinile game, and think logically. The cornerstone of this game was voice recgnition and exploration. Right away, it seems like a perfect fit for the DS. Just about everything would be a hundred times better with the touch screen and microphone. If you've played this game, you know exactly what I'm talking about.
