Hey guys, I just finished class yesterday and am eager to play some good old fashioned fantasy turn based rpg (for the pc, that is). The thing is, I'm not sure what game to get, since many of them border mediocrity. So, any suggestions? I would prefer a more recent game (2006-2011-ish)

hmmm...from 2006 to 2011...not many good turn based rpg have hit the pc That is true indeed, hence my dilema. I was taking a glimpse at guild wars, is that turn based or action rpg? any suggestions about that one?

We are first introduced to this weird character in the NES, where it is referred as a HE, a male dinosaur that thought it was a girl and preferred to be called Birdette. However, later in the 90's nintendo released Mario tennis, where Birdo is said to be a real girl, making no reference whatsoever to its previous transsexual nature. Then we get some more Mario games where Birdo and Yoshi appear to have a sort of romantic relationship. Even though it is said that Yoshi is asexual, the public in general consider him a male character, really childish but still male. I had come to take Birdo as a female who had a crush on Yoshi and went on with my life until recently I read something that called my attention. The Mario Strikers Charged official website describes Birdo as a HE once again. In the game Birdo acts really girly, showing off its diamond ring and large eyelashes. The fact that the page calls it a he really made me reconsider nintendo's real take on this character. What do you guys think? This sparks so many questions. Is Birdo really transsexual? Did it have a sex change between NES and N64? Is Yoshi aware of this? Is Yoshi gay?
Hey, I got guitar hero a couple of weeks ago and I have a question for you guys. Are there any individual guitars available to buy? I just cant find any in stores here and internet is not helping much either. I just find it stupid to get two guitar hero bundles just to be able to play with my friends (after all this game was MADE to be multiplayer , with battle mode and stuff).
This has bothered me for while now and I just can't find a logical reson to it. Why is it that some games (like Trauma Center: New Blood or Soul Calibur: Legends) have been out for a while now and Gamespot has not rated them? I know it is not because they are too busy rating SOO many games that are coming out because there are not that many games out for the Wii.
There seem to be quite a few Guitar Hero 3 bundles for the wii at the time, pricing at about $90 (I think) but GH 3 is meant to be a multiplayer game so I need to buy the bundle and an extra guitar, does anyone know where can I find a GH 3 individual guitar, I mean, to complement the normal bundle. I have looked all over the web and I can't find a GH 3 controller to preorder. If there are none for sale yet then, can someone tell me when are they going to be released and how much will the cost? Tanks for all the responses, I went back to the store and the guy explained that all the consoles reported damaged were illegaly modded (chipped) to accept pirate copies. So, that seems to be the end of the Mario Strikers Mystery, I can buy my copy now and rest assured. Thanx to all
