Under $10.00 Reviews: Enchanted Arms

Enchanted Arms is a turnbased Japanese role-playing game for the Xbox 360 and Playstataion 3. In Enchanted Arms you take the role of Atsuma. Atsuma is a student at Enchant University and is known for being a slacker, disliked by most of the students, and for his dangerous right arm. Enchanted Arms starts with Atsuma wanting to cut class and go to a festival in downtown Yokohama city. Once Atsuma escapes from Enchant University he is free to explore the town and talk to people. Eventually, Atsuma attempts to make some cash by entering a golem fight. The only problem is that Atsuma dosen't own a golem. A golem is a robotic assistant the helps you defeat your enemies in battle. So anyway, Atsuma has to collect three tickets that can be obtained by simply talking to people to earn the money to buy a golem. After the golem fights an earthquake erupts. The earthquake leaves buildings destroyed, the air polluted, and turns the gollems evil. This is where the adventure begins. During your adventure, friends will be both gained and lost. Toya is Atsuma's bestfriend. Unlike Atsuma, Toya is charming, liked, and a powerful enchanter. Like Atsuma has a club for his haters, Toya has a club for his lovers. Makoto is another one of Atsuma's friends. Altough Makoto seems to always have a bad attitude with Atsuma, he remains loyal to him. You probaly noticed that I used the word he for Makoto. Yeah thats right Makoto is actually a homosexual male that has a freaky crush on Toya. Shocker right! There is one thing that I dislike about Enchanted Arms. Now I know that turnbased RPGs are known for having random battles, but Enchanted Arms took it a little far. I mean every step I took pulled me into a battle. Luckily, you have the choice to abort the battle, but it is still a pain in the you know what. Enchanted Arms is a long game. Although I recommend it for everyone, Enchanted Arms is perfect for people that want a game that can keep them entertained for weeks, but don't want to get addicted to it where they are playing it 24/7, don't see sunlight, and not showering. Overall Enchanted Arms is a great game that you can't go wrong with for it being only $4.99 at Gamestop.

Under $10.00 Reviews: Crackdown

Now I know what most of you are thinking when I mention Crackdown. That game that came with the Halo 3 Beta, but unlike most of you I did not get Crackdown from the Halo 3 Beta. I got Crackdown used for $5.99 a few months ago and after playing it for that amount of time I have come to discover that Crackdown maybe one of the most under rated game for the Xbox 360. Basically Crackdown is like a Grand Theft Auto game with super heroes. You take the role of a super agent tracking down and killing the powerful gangs and kingpins of Pacific City. There are 3 gangs in Pacific City you must take down. One is the Los Muertos which are the 1st gang that you should start with because they are pretty much the easiest and have low defences. Next come The Volk. You should try to take down The Volk after the Los Muertos because there defences and weapons are more powerful then the Los Muertos, but still are not the most powerful gang in Crackdown. The last gang you should attempt to take down are the Shai-Gen. The Shai-Gen are the most difficult and powerful gang in Crackdown. Although they are powerful they have very, very high defences that stop you from getting to the leaders and the kingpin of the Shai-Gen. As you explore the city and come close to gang leaders you gain agency intel about the leaders. The super agent in Crackdown wears a suit that in my opinion resembles the suit worn in Gears of War. Also, in Crackdown there are hidden orbs and agility orbs. By collecting agility orbs your super agent is able to lift and throw things that no normal human can such as cars. Also, the more agility orbs you collect the higher your super agent will be able to jump and by collecting all the agility orbs you will earn an achivement for your Xbox 360 and will be able to jump to unbelieveable heights. I also liked Crackdown's lock on system. The lock on system allows you to lock on to your enemy just by holding LT in, but you will not be able to lock on to innocent citizens. The lock on system is mostly needed because the aiming system is very bad and is almost never used. One of the funnest free roam things that I do in Crackdown is going to a defeated leader's old hideout and parking all the cars together and throwing barrels on top of the cars and then throwing a grenade in the middle of it to see a huge explosion. This just one of the many type of free roaming things to do in Crackdown. One very important tip to remember when playing Crackdown is to claim as many agency supply points as possible. Although it may not seem important at the time, collecting agency supply points are very, very important and might save lots of time when it comes to dying. Overall Crackdown is a great game and I highly recommend it considering you can get it for only $5.99 at Gamestop.

My Fall Line Up 2011

This year is a big year for games. There are many amazing games coming out this fall and I have limited myself to a small few. So let's get started. First on my line up is Rayman Origins. I picked Rayman Origins because not once in my life have I ever owned or played a Rayman game and the Rayman games look awesome and it pains me that I have never played one before. I have decided to get the game for the Xbox 360. Next on my list I picked out WWE 12. I picked WWE 12 out because first of all I am a huge wrestling fan and I usually get a WWE game each year, second WWE 12 is just the beginning of a whole new WWE series. With the new predator technology and highly improved graphics WWE 12 is a must have for me this year and I am going to get WWE 12 for the Xbox 360 so I can have the superstar threads and paint tool feature. Next on my list is The Cursed Crusade. While most of you will disagree with this decision, I decided to pick The Cursed Crusade over Dark Souls. I had to watch many trailers and gameplay videos to come to this decision. Just the combat and overall gameplay looked better to me in The Cursed Crusade. I cannot wait for The Cursed Crusade. Finally, last but certainly not least on my list is The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. I am so excited for Skyward Sword. I am also very, very glad they have the controller bundle considering I do not have a MotionPlus controller, it is an excellent deal for only $70.00. Skyward Sword looks simply amazing. The combat looks amazing, the combat looks amazing, and the graphics look amazing. The Legend of Zelda is my favorite series of all time and Skyward Sword will be an excellent edition to the series. Thank you for reading My Fall Line Up 2011. Please leave comments and also I am looking for a fith game in My Fall Line Up. So if you have any suggestions please leave a comment telling me a suggestion or telling me what your fall line up is. Thank you.
