Enchanted Arms is a turnbased Japanese role-playing game for the Xbox 360 and Playstataion 3. In Enchanted Arms you take the role of Atsuma. Atsuma is a student at Enchant University and is known for being a slacker, disliked by most of the students, and for his dangerous right arm. Enchanted Arms starts with Atsuma wanting to cut class and go to a festival in downtown Yokohama city. Once Atsuma escapes from Enchant University he is free to explore the town and talk to people. Eventually, Atsuma attempts to make some cash by entering a golem fight. The only problem is that Atsuma dosen't own a golem. A golem is a robotic assistant the helps you defeat your enemies in battle. So anyway, Atsuma has to collect three tickets that can be obtained by simply talking to people to earn the money to buy a golem. After the golem fights an earthquake erupts. The earthquake leaves buildings destroyed, the air polluted, and turns the gollems evil. This is where the adventure begins. During your adventure, friends will be both gained and lost. Toya is Atsuma's bestfriend. Unlike Atsuma, Toya is charming, liked, and a powerful enchanter. Like Atsuma has a club for his haters, Toya has a club for his lovers. Makoto is another one of Atsuma's friends. Altough Makoto seems to always have a bad attitude with Atsuma, he remains loyal to him. You probaly noticed that I used the word he for Makoto. Yeah thats right Makoto is actually a homosexual male that has a freaky crush on Toya. Shocker right! There is one thing that I dislike about Enchanted Arms. Now I know that turnbased RPGs are known for having random battles, but Enchanted Arms took it a little far. I mean every step I took pulled me into a battle. Luckily, you have the choice to abort the battle, but it is still a pain in the you know what. Enchanted Arms is a long game. Although I recommend it for everyone, Enchanted Arms is perfect for people that want a game that can keep them entertained for weeks, but don't want to get addicted to it where they are playing it 24/7, don't see sunlight, and not showering. Overall Enchanted Arms is a great game that you can't go wrong with for it being only $4.99 at Gamestop.
