I like Chrono Cross better because it's story is more philosophical, whereas MGS4 is more involved with itself.

I feel like I totally missed something obvious but can somebody explain to me what liquid meant when he said "this is what i always hoped for" or whatever at the end? I don't understand why he bothered with all of it if his goals really were the same as snake's. Thanks
