ok, so we (me and my wife) rented Guitar Hero 3 for the 2nd time (hey were on a budget here!) with the fond memories of playing song after song untill three in the morning when we were more cross eyed than a retard with a butterfly on his nose. Now keep in mind we had been grudgenly satisfying our poor man's subsitution for talent and sex apeal with Guitar hero 2, for which, while it is acclaimed for its wider selection of historic rock, only satisfies those who either have fond memories of 80's hair bands, or memories of being on the bus with White snake, probably not as a roadie (hoars). We put in guitar hero 3, and low and behold, i miss 2. I dont know why. Maybe its the same strange threquel idiocy that robbed me of any pleasure from halo 3 (sans pants) but i just yern for simpler days. Or maybe im just getting old. either way- at least i didnt buy it ;P....yet.

ahhh memories -

life was simpler then-

we had just invaded iraq, space ship one - (although it looked like a star-spangled vibrator soared into the heavens,

and yes, halo 2 roxxed soxxs- where we didnt have bubble shields, the needler was really just a pink brick to throw at people, and tea bagging the ultimate pwnage- i do say, i think i miss it a little ;P

I really just wanted to post this image up, i find it hillarious on so many levels, many of which reside in the gutter.

I suppose I could tie it into the video game world, and the fact that i cant play itunes music on my xbox. Or the fact that Little Big Planet may just push me to someday purchase a PS3. Or that I downloaded the free Yaris XBLA game, and enjoyed it (slightly).
