I know I had trouble yesterday too. It seemed to get better right before they shut it down this morning for its maintenance outage. So I'm not 100% sure but I think after the outage things will be back to normal for the most part.

Ok so I just got the Darkness and the Bigsthe other night at Walfart on the way home from work. I have been playing the Bigs alot since I got them both home... and today I finally decided to break out the Darkness. Well it started up just fine and went through the opening sequence no problem, but once I got into the first area of the construction zone it freezes up and I can't do anything but eject the disc and start from my save point. I've exchanged the disc twice now and am still having the same problem. I tried every other game in my collection and they all run fine (Oblivion, Gears, Shadowrun, Forza2, Crackdown...). And thankfully it's not flashing any red lights ::knocks on wood:: I've checked the discs in all 3 cases and they had no scratches, but they all did seem to have a splash of the material that they use in DVD creation across the center portion of the disc... it looks much darker than the rest of the disc and is splochy(technical term). I've seen it on DVD movies and on a few 360 games before but it's never been a problem. Any ideas??

I love the wireless 360 mic since I got it. No major problems with it unless it's battery is nearlydepleted then it cuts in and out sometimes... but a nice simple recharge and back in business.:D

I honestly don't play nearly as much as I used to. I used to play like 3-5 hrs a day. Usually before and after work. Now I'm lucky if I play like 2-3 hrs a day. Of course I do the usual exercise thing, work thing, and have an ok social life.... not great but it's getting better. But honestly no I'm not addicted per se. Heck I can go weeks without playing...

Yes, you can, dial-up does work for updates gamer pictures, themes, and arcade games, large demo would take forever. Some games you can play, most you can not. Just connect your 360 to an XP PC that has a network card, select to share your internet connection. You would be surprised the people doing this. Who's stupid now!

Ummm..the people doing this are friggin stupid...They screw the rest of us out of a decent online experience because they cannot get access to broadband for whatever reason. Why should we all suffer because 1 person wants to play via dial up... f that!

Sounds like the disc drive to me. If your friend is doing this to your system... break his hands or tell him if it's broken that he's paying for it!
