Sure, the Wii doesn't have some of the games of the other consoles, which does suck, but I don't really care. The Wii has personality that the Xbox or PS3 can't match. They're just hunks of metal that have computers in them. The Wii also has the channels, and while the Weather and News channel are kinda lame, the Mii channel is fun. Also, the Everybody Votes and Check Mii Out Channels are a blast if you get into them.

The Wii doesn't run in 1080p. I really don't mind. How long do you play Gears of War and just say "Wow. Look at the graphics." When you have a swarm of enemies charging you, you couldn't care less if it rain in 1080p or 480p or 5p or whatever. Having said that, the gameplay is more important, and while some of the early Wii games have had crappywaggle controls (Zelda), the Wii's controls will improve as well as its graphics as time goes on. Imagine a swordfighting game that actually moves exactily as you move the wiimote.

The top screen on my DS sometimes turns white for a moment then when i shift my DS a little its gone. Sometimes it flashes. This mostly happens when I play a GBA game.
