If your buying a new pc, then you really should go with Vista. I bought a new PC in October with Vista and then I put XP on it as well, and I've used Vista 99% of the time. It runs all my games just fine, including stuff like Crysis and Bioshock. It runs my apps just fine. It took some getting use to, but now I like the way it works better than XP for the most part. Vista is the future, more games for it and DX10 are coming out in 2008, as well as Vista SP1. With new hardware like your getting, it will run Vista jsut fine.

I just bought this recently for the PC. I only have 1 pc that dual boots, so I can install it twice and use it with no problems.

However, I also realize that the copy protection on this software is less than ideal, it does seem sorta extreme to legitimate owners, but still, I'm not going to boycott the game, that's not a solution for me either.
