i think it could go to any of portal 2, dark souls, batman, uncharted 3, skyrim, or zelda. personally it will be between portal 2, batman, resistance 3, uncharted 3, dead space 2.
anyone who thinks battlefield 3 or modern warfare 3 can win goty are out of their minds.
With the exception of Fifa 11, Fifa generally does change things that ACTUALLY effect the way you play the game and the way it feels.
Mainly people complain about madden because every year it is just some minor under the hood tweak that doesn't change anything.. Like better AI is toted as a new feature to the newer madden yet I didn't notice any difference.. It just felt like the turning the game on a slightly higher difficulty level.
Even then being able to play as a keeper in Fifa 11 was a bigger addition any madden game has made in the past 6 years or so

yea i would agree with this, the last madden i bought was 09, and i recently played madden 12 at best buy and it feels esentially the same, and as far as i can tell theres no mode changes. not buying another madden until the next gen.
of course its a good thing, but a potential issue i see is that the 360 community just doesn't seem like the type that will buy too many copies of this kind of game. shooters yes, but hardcore hard as hell jrpg, i have my doubts. and for a game that features a very important online aspect, i get the feeling that the 360 servers will be quite dead by the end of the year. so if you have the choice i highly suggest you get the ps3 version.
Im an avid fifa gamer and have to say that i never understand why alot of gamers discount sports games as yearly rehashes that appeal to the lowest common denominator. Fifa 12 now with its tactical defending is a true test of skill. Every button on the controller is key to success, the difference between an expert fifa player and a novice will be glaringly obvious. A fifa match becomes a chess match where you try to keep your shape on the pitch to get the ball back. decide when to send your wing backs forward to attack thus leaving a ton of space for the other player to potentially counter. IMO these kinds of sports games require as much skill and intelligence as any game that the hardcore gamer lauds. I only write this because i constantly see sports games trashed on these forums, while some do deserve it, games like fifa and nba 2k are legit goty conteders for me, for what they bring to the table.
it is racist, because its a flag that stands for nothing today, thus it represents everything that was confederate, by choosing to wave one, that person is knowingly admitting that they support what that flag stood for. i mean what kind of people do you see with confederate flags? white people, sometimes bald driving pick up trucks. your lying to yourself if you think racism doesn't exist anymore, or have the "get over it already" attitude. the thing is these racists are the biggest hypocrites, when latino's go on the streets and march with mexican flags, they start crying, yet they wave a flag that supposedly represents their heritage. If you want to wave a confederate flag to support your heritage, don't start crying when a mexican american waves a mexican flag to support their heritage.
fifa 12, batman arkham city, uncharted 3 that should hold me over for the rest of the year. i might also get nba 2k12 if the lockout ends. any other games i will get later at a cheaper price.
if you don't understand why the ps2 is considered one of the greatest consoles of all time, you shouldn't consider yourself a gamer, and may god have mercy on your soul.
