resistance 3, the weapons are the most fun to use, and the gunplay itself is top class.

modern warfare 2, apparently theres characters in this series that people care about, i didn't even know mw1 and 2 had a connected story.

why do review scores matter with these games? everyone knows uncharted 3 will be awesome. all gears fans knew that gears 3 was more of the same. dont let review scores dictate your gaming life. i really only pay attention to review scores if its game that i know little about or had no interest in before reviews. i don't even watch trailers for uncharted 3 because i know im getting it day one and i know it will be awesome.

While i thought the first two games in the series were good AA games, imo Resistance 3 will go down as one of the most overlooked games of this gen. The campaign is the most fun i have had with a shooter since Bioshock. The pacing in the game is masterful imo. I just beat the game and want to start it again to level up my guns and get trophies. Then its on to a superhuman run in co op. The guns in this game are the best weapons ever put into a shooter imo. The gunplay is just so polished and satisfying. I have to say its my GOTY so far, I just hope more people buy this game because imo its just a masterful effort from Insomniac. The only negative for me is that the multiplayer is nothing special. Basically a mix of halo and cod. its not terrible but im not gonna be playing it for too long. But the campaign just makes up for it imo. One of the best single player experiences this gen.

this is the 5th to 6th year of this gen of hardware, basically all the major companies have established their new ips for this gen and are now trying to get the most out of them. you'll have to look at smaller publishers if you want to pay new ip's, or wait for the next gen of consoles to get major AAA new ip's.

IM wondering if the story is actually decent-good in this one. The fact the reviewer says The included "Previously On…" video gives you a disappointingly meager refresher makes me not take thier opinoin seriously. Since I thought the characters and story of 1&2 were utter crap. Nothing was funny or interesting I was just playing though the motions.

yeah thats what kept me from liking this series, the story is weak, the characters are "generic bro soldiers",and the first game was gray as hell. otherwise the actual gameplay is standard 3rd person cover shooter done at a high level. but im someone who needs a good story and characters to care for.

uncharted 3, skyrim, batman AA, fifa 12 all could get 9.5, all will surely get AAA fifa 12 in particular could get crowned GSGOAT(greatest sports game of all time).
