i agree, i prefer a game with a narrative focused set path like uncharted, dead space, portal etc. over games like fallout, oblivion, gta, red dead redemption. the only open ended games i have truly got sucked into are the assassin's creed games, mostly because the over arching narrative is so good and im a sucker for history.

hard to say, but i would guess some sort of reptile, because since you say apes never existed, the dinsoaurs have been the only dominant species on this planet.

because console specs are 5-6 years old already. the fact that pc developers have to develop inferior versions of their games for consoles shows that they need those sales to actually make a profit on their games. Look at Battlefield 3, Dice would love to release the game for PC only, since only PC players with expensive rigs will actually see the definitve version of battlefield 3. But they know releasing the game on ps3 and 360 will give them much more sales than the pc version would ever dream of selling. theres a reason bad company 2 was dice best selling game to date, because it was released for consoles.

I can imagine the gnashing of teeth and return of games when PS3 users get hopelessly owned, Keyboard and mouse support isn't like PC support your using generic drivers so those fancy dpi settings, high accuracy and such on that pc mouse? yep only basics are supported on the ps3 its not like you can plug in a 24 button mouse and all the buttons work on the ps3.

your getting generic usb drivers even if you use a mouse and keyboard high precision mice users on the PC will be owning you.

at lest we'll be able to find a match, x box 360 version of this will be dead within a couple of months. at least ps3 will get instant updates through steam and free dlc most likely like the stuff thats coming for portal 2. face it microsoft being stingy is the only reason this is happening.

i cant speak for anyone else but myself, but im much better at shooters with the ps3 controller than the xbox one. shooting with L1 and R1 is faster than pulling down on a trigger. also the sticks on ps3 are just more responsive for me.

dead space 1 and 2, assassin's creed 2, bioshock, heavy rain, LA noire, limbo

i'll wait for the price to go down, i can see this game not selling too well and dropping in price pretty quick tbh, i personally never even read a preview for this game, but it does look interesting when i read the review.

either 720p 60fps, or 1080p 30fps sounds likely considering most games dont even run at 720p and most games run at 30fps this gen.
