So I bought a new laptop, and I'm convinced that it thinks its graphic drivers are up to date when they are not. When I use the automated driver update feature, Vista tells me that I'm up to date. Yet I have the same problems I've had since I bought the laptop. In game videos are choppy, but not slowed, its as if the screen is divided into sections that are not synced together. Most games (Warhammer40K, Supreme Commander, Fallout 3) play smoothly, except for the cut scenes. Then games like Crysis: Warhead and STALKER: Shadow of Chernoble are completely unplayable. It doesnt seem like a framerate issue, even when I reduce all video settings the game has that strange 'unsynced' appearence.
Like I said, I've attempted to update my drivers using Vista to automatically find new drivers, but I've also checked out laptop2video2go, and frankly, I dont know what to look for on that site. Im not sure which driver I should download, if any.

Alright, so I just bought a new laptop, and Im somewhat ignorant in getting it up and running. I just updated the video driver, but I'm still having problems. Firstly, the mouse seems to lag behind in windows, and is especially slow in game menus. Some games run without a hitch (Supreme Commander, Dawn of War, Fallout 3), but whenever a video sequence comes on, the video is choppy and lags. Then some games simply dont run at all (Crysis: Warhead, STALKER: Clear Sky). I really dont know what to do, and I'm sure my laptop should be able to run these games at least on a moderate level. Any help would be appreciated. Heres my specs
