I have a Netgear DG834G router and get the error message 8013013E "A connection to the access point could not be established. Check the security settings for the wireless LAN"
I have recently bought a Netgear DG834GB wireless modem/router to connect my PS3 to a wireless network at home.
My partner and I have both tried to connect the PS3 to the network with/out WEP/WPA-SPK/WPA2-SPK keys, entering in information manually and using 'eas'y option but it will not connect for some reason. The router is all ready to go in terms of it is transmitting a signal, but the PS3 just seems to ignore it.
Can't remember off hand what the error code is but the main jist of the message is 'cannot connect to the wireless access point' - will post a reply with the exact message when I get home.
The firmware on both the PS3 and the router is up to date. The PS3 connects to the internet with no problem whatsoever through ethernet.
