@sakaixx: Not really that surprising. Marvel knows that they have to play nice with Sony when dealing with Spider-Man. They want their ip's to start being taken seriously in the video game industry, who else would be a better fit for Spider-Man?
There is no way I am going to finish NioH before Horizon Zero Dawn comes out but by the looks of all the previews once Feb. 28th hits NioH is just going to have to take the back seat. Got the CE pre-ordered and my body is ready!
@Pokemon18986: Wiki? Really? These are not updated sales. Uncharted sold 2.7 million in the first WEEK. This data isn't valid.
I slightly agree about the brand recognition part. PlayStation is set up to dominate it's competition more than any other console maker. If you look at Sony's worst selling console the PS3 at 90 million units, that's still better than Microsoft's BEST selling console which is the 360 and all Nintendo consoles excluding the Wii. The PlayStation brand sells itself for the most part through years upon years of building a loyal fanbase. Where we disagree is were you claim Sony fans aren't about the "emotional experiences" because simply put...we are. Your basis is from attach rate which from the start fails because there is this dynamic of Hardcore/Casual gamers. The Casual gamer no matter which platform dominates that platform in numbers and inflates the user base. Hardcore gamers like us are what should be discussed here. The "Sony fans" are the hardcore while the casuals are fickle and play to the trend.
As for your last rant erm...uh...I mean paragraph. Well, that's just like.....your opinion man
