Assassin's Creed is a very good game. Play it.

I feel ff12 deserves a rant from me. Been playing the game for a while now, so far i think im almost on the half way point of the game. Looks great, sounds okay and plays well. But!!! Wtf is with the camera views man?!?! How come games these days still have the nagging problem of messed up camera views. Is it too hard to fix that? I dont wish to see the close-up of my main character's head whenever i try to turn the camera around to get a good look of my environment. That just irks me...

And whats with the strong indian accent from the marquis? I didnt know he is half-indian. But i can overlook that, as long as i dont hear his voice too often.

And most irritating thing of all is... how the hell would anybody know what treasure chest to open and what not to open, just so to get the zodiac spear??? How does the designer expect normal people like me to know that without reading the hints section? At least, give some hints. That is a secret item that makes no sense. As you can guess, i missed the opportunity to get that spear.

Lately, i've been playing a couple of MMORPGs. Knight Online and MU Online to be specific. The latter being the most played. Of course being such cheapskate as i am, i played them because they were free. But sadly, nothing comes without a price. These online games are filled with hackers polluting the game system and ruining honest players' (like me) chance of ever enjoying them. Whats even sad is little was done to discourage hackers from ever striking again as evident from the number of server disconnects that i got while playing. Sure, they were plenty of pleas from victims asking for the appropiate actions to be taken against the hackers, but tragically those pleas seem to have fallen on deaf ears.

But nevertheless, i enjoy the free entertainment while it lasted. I hope you will too, but try not to get your hope too high up.

Woke up in the middle of the night. Bad dream. Third time in the row. Must be the stress from playing too much of Sid Meier's Pirates. Trying to save all of my family members before i become an old man is proving to be a little tough for me brain to handle. I swear that game is driving me nuts. So much to do yet so little time. Treasures to find, big-bad pirates to fight, towns to pillage and ships to shink. How can one possible do that much stuff in a lifetime i wonder.

After some time playing the game, i found myself doing pretty much the same thing after every few seconds. Go inside a town, talk to governor, dance with daughter, go to tavern, talk to barmaid, talk to bartender, talk to mysterious guy, recruit men, trade and then sell some ships. Only the treasure-seeking and family-finding elements manage to break up the repetition. Contrary to what i believe, pirating aint that exciting.

Word on the street is that a pirate game is coming out for ps2. It follows the journeys of captain jack sparrow from pirates of the caribbean movie. Is it gonna bomb? Me gut tells me most likely. But me brain says it will kick arse. Seeing that im mentally retarded, i guess i have to go with my gut.

Finally completed X-Men Legends, really great game although would have preferred it to be much more longer. I think i would play it for the second time, just to collect all the concept art and comics. Anyway, looking forward for X-Men: Rise of the Apocolypse(sp?).

Man, i cant play God of War. I mean i can, but i somehow dont want to. Its just that i know im going to look at the walkthrough while playing it and its really not cool but i cant help it. I just dont want to miss any red orbs chests or those gordon eyes and feathers. Its a curse, i tell you, a curse.

Talking about curse, my Gladius curse is free again. For the second time, i cant play this game. The game hangs inexplicably again. Whats strange is that, i can only play it one mission and then it hangs while loading the next one. Every ...single ...time.

After seeing the press conference for nintendo, i think their revolution is the least powerful among the big three. its really quite funny to see the reggie guy trying to convince the crowd that they are the best when everyone knows that they have been the weakest. The only good thing about nintendo is they have a long history of gaming and they clearly were trying to exploit it at the press conference. They also got games that are really unique and i think their next gen platform will be too so i guess that is their selling point but i personally dont think their new platform is going to sell as well as the other two.

The part of the conference that i disliked was when reggie was comparing sales of ds and psp and he tells everyone that the ds sold better. He later admits that psp wasnt out in the europe yet and then proclaims its sony own fault for not bringing it to europe earlier. In order words, he kind of admit that it was not a effective comparison. i bet he knows that the psp will sell better than the ds if it were to be released in europe also.

Another ineffective comparison was the gameboy advance and ps2. The reason the game boy advance sold so well was because they were the only new portable handheld gaming device available at that time. So naturally, a lot of people would buy them as there is no competion. The whole comparison was totally irrelavent.

Gameboy micro...hmm..., i guess nintendo thought that since sony made psp's screen so huge, they should make their's super small, so there you have it, the gameboy micro- with a screen so small you have to buy a magnifier to see properly. People with meaty finger are sure going to 'enjoy' playing games on it. But one thing for sure, nintendo aims to dominate the portable handheld industry with all these new handhelds. I guess there's the only way they can top the charts among the big three.

Just defeated the last boss with a combo that delt around 6000 plus damage. But wait... the game hangs just before the start of the *ucking ending cutscene. Pissed off is all i can say.

Given up all hope on viewtiful joe and metal gear solid snake eater. Im afraid i would throw my PS2 out the window if i continue playing these two games.

Whoa, this game has such a futuristic feel to it yet i feel like im playing pokemon, collecting monsters so that they could fight for me. The only difference is that the monsters sometimes will bite you in the arse if you are not looking.

Danta appears in this one also, boy does he like to make cameos.

I will see if i can finish this game without looking at the walkthrough.
