This Week I have reviewed...

This week I have decided to issue a very late review of Guitar Hero: World Tour!

Check it out and comment; Do you agree with me?

This week lwilson014 looked at Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad and thought, NO!

Coming up in Q1/Q2

Bored, I surf the internet, specifically play.com, looking for upcoming games that are worth 40 quid of my own money. I don't want Resident Evil 5, I'm not into that rubbish. I don't want Tom Clancy's HAWX, It's not as good as Ace Combat and I wasn't impressed with the demo. I might buy The Godfather II, but I'm not sure. PLEASE HELP, SUGGEST GAMES FOR ME!

Clan Gaming is good, but a bit stressful!

This more of an advert for a website called gamebattles.com than a blog post, like me plugging their website which the BBC seemed to enjoy doing to U2 last week! Anyway, three friends and I joined this gamebattles.com site, which if you are unaware operates a system where you form clans on certain games such as Call of Duty and Gears of War, challenge others and play them over Playstation 3, Xbox 360 or Wii. Now last night for the first time, I played with my team and we lost 2-1. So as Captain of the clan, reported the loss and that went perfectly smoothly. Later on around 7:30, some team challenged our clan to a match at 8. After about 20 minutes, he came on said that he couldn't do it so this where it gets frustrating! You therefore, have to fill in a support ticket identifying the problems and reasons why you could not play the match and give in a detailed report of why should get the win. After a nights sleep and as gamebattles.com was deliberating this ticket we played a clan and they beat us 2-1, accused of cheating and put the score as 3-0!!!!! Therefore, we had to fill in a supprot ticket. So if you can play fair, enjoy gaming, have friends, doesn't get stressed easily and likes filling in reports/tickets, gamebattles.com is the place for you! Thanks, lwilson014 P.S if you sign up, challenge Sons of Controlled Chaos, tidy!?

Should Cheat Codes lock Achievements?

Correct me if I am wrong, but the first time this really happened was on GTA IV. You had codes such as '359-555-0100' which gave you an Annihilator helicopter but blocked achievements such as One Man Army; Survive a 6-star wanted level for 5 minutes and Walk Free; Escape a 4-star wanted level. However, if you had the brains about you, you would have your main account with cheats and a little side account for doing the achievements that were locked when you entered the cheats. So, if you can do this, why do they lock them in the first place? If it is to stop you using cheats, why not not put them in? Think next time developers, thanks, lwilson014

Call of Duty World at War reminds me of something...

Playing on the Xbox after a long days work, I am inclined to pick out COD: World at War and as I enter the gazillionth team deathmatch, I notice something. The guns. The perks. The streak rewards, they all remind me offf... COD Modern Warfare!!! If you look closely on every map and every gun there is an essence of the same with a different name. So, I plead, to whoever is going to make COD 6, I mean Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (sorry), please make the maps a bit more wackier, the guns different and the perks to give more a sense of reward! Thanks, lwilson014
