Halo Reach, Gears of War 3, Skyrim, Batman Arkham City, Borderlands, Mass Effect 2. Some honorable mentions would be Bioshock, Dead Space, Saints Row The Third, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, and Fallout 3 or New Vegas.
Bioshock 2 wasn't nearly as good as the first one. Alan Wake was pretty awesome. Mass Effect 2 is probably my favorite game of all time. Haven't played a lot of Resident Evil so I can't really say anything about that one.
It looks awesome so I'll probably get it during my holiday break after Christmas. Too many games to finish up before I get Skyward Sword and Saints Row
You said you're getting Arkham City which is an awesome choice because that game is wonderful. As the other game I would go with Skyrim. I own Rage too and it's alright, but Skyrim is simply amazing.
it just ticks me off when they release material like this they makin the game in just one year and i dont care how big your team is its not long enough.. Two years minimum they should have spent on this geting it nice an polished.
look at skyrim how huge that game is and detailed, and it runs really well im sorry theres just no excuse

I absolutely LOVE Skyrim, but come on. It's pretty darn glitchy just like Bethesda's other games.
Honestly, I think it'll probably be Zelda: Skyward Sword. I have been absolutely loving Skyrim and MW3 though. Batman and Gears 3 were also absolutely amazing.
I live in Jersey so I have off of school for Teacher's Convention, so I have all damn day to play Skyrim. IF I get tired of playing it for so many hours I'll probably take a break and play MW3, BF3, or Gears 3.
If you did any research or read any reviews at all before purchasing the game you would have known that this was never supposed to be anything like Fallout or other Bethesda game. It's not id's fault that they didn't make another Fallout game just for you, and just because it's in a post apocalyptic world needs to be Fallout-like game. Also, that post was ridiculously long.
