1080i is the way to go and many say you cant see the difference unless you have a tv 55 inches or largerpatrickjw333

I would get that TV for $1350,  it even comes with a free HD-DVD player.

It has 8500:1 contrast ratio,  6ms respond time, 1080p, 6 1080p compatible terminals (3 hdmi, 2 component, 1 dvi)

Sharp even calls it there "game players" line of tv's.    You can also opt for the 32 inch which is 10000:1 contrast ratio.

The real question is will Warner Bros give the HD-DVD preferential treatment with superior audio like all of there movies?  Or will they give it lossless audio like they did that 1 time with The Departed (HD-DVD also got lossless audio for the Departed)
