Well according to PC Gamers it’s compromised on a GTX 1080 Ti too

OLeD Has below 1ms response time regardless of the frames per second genius

Link please, state a 'fact' present the evidence to go with it. Not saying you're wrong but until you have something backing up your statements then, as far as I'm concerned, you are talking shite.

You want to see the "input lag" response time for monitors?

Feel free to compare and you can see why monitors are better for gaming than TV's. You can but... but... about HDR all day long but it doesn't change that monitors are better gaming displays, add in Gsync or Freesync and incomparibly higher frame rates and they'll always win, regardless of bright white is or how dark black is.

Thank you, that wasn't hard was it? Do you have a link so as I can see the entire table/article and not just the cropped image?

Now what's your take on the higher input lag and low frame rates (the actual thread topic)? We'll not go into being forced to use DoF and motion blur, just yet.

To me it’s not as important/satisfying as contrast ratio, color saturation, response times, HDR, and 3D Audio.

which is why I game on an OLED and ditched my PC for a X1X

Resolution, HDR, graphic fidelity, etc. really don't mean shit unless the frame rate is 60fps or more.

Disagree. 60 FPs don’t mean shit If The graphical fidelity is 2nd place

X1X not PC

Who doesn't enjoy some cricket at 4K and HDR? Boy, I'm excited!

Such a big win

Your list shows 48 4k/HDR Games, and 57 HDR Games.

Lets not forget OP thinks HDR is the biggest leap in visual fidelity since SD to HD. He doent believe the leap from HD to UHD is as big.

I'd stand by that comment...if all things are equal (effects/fps/etc), I'd take 1080p/hdr over 4k/no hdr. It's a great feature. The games on pc with it on I can't play without. And I guess there are a few console games with hdr that aren't on pc?

That being said...this thread flipped to hdr from 4k and the pixel information. I'd also stay with my claim that the bifurcated definition of 4k between pc/console gamers exists. 4k/60fps/hdr is GREAT, and the consoles just aren't up to snuff to handle that for the majority of titles (I think Forza 7 does on the x, yeah? Though I'm not sure if it uses the same in game settings as pc on ultra...but then on pc I take of blur/dof for a better image).

Ah so you have a 1080 Ti or a Titan Pascal? because those are only cards that are going to get almost twice as many frames as X1X at similar settings.

ill stick to X1X’s superior HDR Support regardless tho

So at last count (cause this is all you seem to care about at the moment).

PC has access to 24 HDR Enabled games. With another 3 on the list to be released.

Xbox - 8 wasn't it? (I don't have that link).

Try 52

If you say so,

Funny how this thread turned into a thread about HDR.

So let’s remember X1X has the best HDR Support by far

And OP himself believes HDR is the biggest gain in visual fidelity since we went from SD to HD

HDR , the new Bloom.

"OMG look at that sun and shadows!" as they dominated the entire image.

Try harder

“HDR is a night and day upgrade to SDR”

”This is how it always should have looked”

”HDR is a truer more correct representation of the artwork”

”SDR suddenly looked dull by comparison”

”Gives consoles a very tangible advantage”

”HDR leaves it with a distinct advantage, over even PC”
