Sony's video game business is actually doing pretty well, it's the television business that is really lacking and will cause them the most trouble.Sonys gaming division lost over 1 billion dollars last quarter. The PS3 is a part of the consumer products and services division, which includes HDTVs, which lost $1 Billion USD. They sold off their shares in the S-LCD joint venture with Samsung for a loss in addition to slow TV sales. I think that's what affected that financial statement figure. They've broken even with the PS3 hardware for a while now and I don't think there's anyway that Vita has caused their consumer product divsion to take that big of a hit.[QUOTE="mD-"][QUOTE="groverslanding"]
Everytime Sony tries to go after casuals, like with Move for instance, they fail miserably. Hell not even their hardcore games sell well.
They're doomed to last place I'm afraid. Then bankruptcy.

Talk about hyperbole out the ass, Jesus Christ[QUOTE="mD-"][QUOTE="Pug-Nasty"]
This. More recently, Sony has dropped the ball with their franchises. Resistance 3, KZ 3, and Uncharted 3 are all piles of crap that I seriously regret buying. What's worse is that they are follow ups from games that range from good to great.
KZ 3's story and MP are terrible. Resistance 3's campagin and co-op aren't anywhere near as good as 2's and the MP was straight broken out the gate. Uncharted 3's gameplay is terrible and its MP is awful as well.
I have trouble finding any good qualities in any of these games.

Um, no. I meant exactly what I said.
If those games disappoint you THAT much, I guess you don't have much to forward to in the FPS/TPS genre other than BF3, Half Life 3 or Bioshock Infinite.[QUOTE="mD-"]During that Android sale? They had some good stuff up ! Yeah, a lot of those games were really goodLol, I could have gotten this for my Galaxy Nexus for 10 cents months ago and still didn't buy it

[QUOTE="Stevo_the_gamer"]Some are fantastic, some are great, some are good, and some are sh*t. You can't generalize an entire spectrum of titles under one umbrella.Pug-Nasty

Talk about hyperbole out the ass, Jesus ChristOk, we good then lol. UC2 end boss was a bit lame, but it never really felt like a 'boss' kinda game for me anyway. Still, UC3 end boss was much worse lol.[QUOTE="BibiMaghoo"][QUOTE="freedomfreak"] Definitely. Everything about UC2 was better. But I thought UC1 was more fun to play through.4dr1el
Uh? U3 had an end boss? I honestly cant remember...
EDIT: How do you do spoilers here? lol
Busy day today I see, lolOut of everything this gen I feel the saddest for PS Move. It just sits on the shelf with no respect or no admiration whatsoever. People don't even actively go out of their way to criticize it these days. It's just ...there. Is it still worth purchasing for the cows out there. Why doesn't sony support this colorful flashlight wii remote thingy.

If I end up picking this up and loving the multiplayer more than any other PS3 multiplayer, I'm going to hate all reviewers and deem them as worthless. In any multiplayer game if you have a bad team, you won't have as much fun. This isn't made to be a lone wolf game. It seems though that the co-op in this is a hidden gem and is appropriately challenging.

The exclusive I own happen to be some of the best games I've played this gen. I knew I was going to a PS3 someday because of God of War III, which was a great, epic game. I own MGS4, ratchet and clank's, killzone's, uncharted's, and god of war 3, modnation racer's, and some other stuff. Not all the exclusives are masterpieces, but I do consider them at the top of their genre (Uncharted 2/3, God of War 3, Modnation Racer's aka Mario Kart killer).

This is the point I begin to question yor sanity. Just so that you know.
I take it you have never played Mario Kart of any kind, that is the only way that statement makes any sense.
To give you background: My favorite MK in the series is Mario Kart DS. I haven't played 7. I own MK64 and Mario Kart Wii and have played them a lot. For the N64, I feel that Diddy Kong Racing was the best kart racing game and my 2nd favorite of all time.
The fact that you are questioning my sanity shows that you know NOTHING about Modnation Racer's. Why wouldn't a game that allows you to make brilliant custom tracks and your own characters with risk/reward gameplay that's more balanced, hectic, and faster than Mario Kart not have a chance to be a better kart racer? I've gotten into this argument before with other people on these boards before and I made them look silly and ridiculous if they were the ones who haven't played MNR. There are others who have played it and we've actually had a civilized debate about this. I'm not going to waste my time discussing anything with you don't know anything about MNR.
