[QUOTE="Juggernaut140"][QUOTE="d51man"][QUOTE="Juggernaut140"][QUOTE="d51man"][QUOTE="nimatoad2000"] got it today, i had really high hopes and while im very happy their thrash again my quirk is .. the songs are all decent, but not many of them are memorable and stay in your head or make you want to play them again ( for me a song like this would be four horsemen, ride the lightning, creeping death, leper messiah) they all seem similar, except all nightmare long and the day that would never come ( although i think the " love is a four letter word "part is sooo corny) unforgiven 3 is like.... wtf it dosnt sound like unforg 1 or 2, it dosnt have the same sound or **** and i dont even think i heard them say " unforgiven"
overall its a decent album but i think megadeth's united abominations was bttr last year... this coming from a metallica > megadeth fan.... at least its bttr than nostradomus.....
superheromonkey
United Abominations was an abomination. Aside from one or two songs I like, simply because they were catchy, it was a terrible album. Nostradomus was actually pretty good, in my opinion.
Fail
I mean seriously. UA was awesome
United Abominations was just like ever other Megadeth release since Rust In Peace, terrible.
Seriously, just lol. Megadeth annihilates Metallica. Dave Mustaine is a better vocalist and guitarist than James Hetfield and Kirk Hammet.
Mustaine was kicked out of metallica because he sucked and i think that is enough evidence to support the conclusion that metallica's worst is better than megadeths best. I've never really listened to megadeth though. It is one of those conclusions i've drawn without really having any serious support.
Ehm no he wasnt? He was kicked out for being a punk smartass. James has said himself that Mustaine was the only one of the guys who could really play, also he wrote a lot of Metallicas early riffs.
