Musings

January, I graduated from university with my bachelors degree, psychology.

February, I quit my job and left for a holiday. Unfortunately while skiing in Japan, I broke my leg. Both my tibia and fibula.

When I got back home to Australia, I had surgery. A titanium rod put through my tibia with a couple of screws. I've been walking again for 4 weeks or so now. It felt like an eon, but in reality it was a pretty quick recovery, broken legs can be much worse. Besides, I think its kind of cool to have titanium in my leg and through an entire bone, like wolverine or something.

So now I'm back on my feet, I've joined a gym to both be healthier in general and also help with any muscle atrophy from being bedbound while my leg healed. I need to start job hunting too. Need to support myself, but at the same time I don't really want a career with my degree, I want to play music for a living..
