I'm gonna be as unoriginal as possible and write my first blog post about it being my first blog post, and how I have no idea how to blog. Yay!

So... my name is Brian. I like those video game things. At the moment my career goal is to get into game design, specifically in writing the story. Game journalism is a backup, because, lets face it, Gamespot is pretty awesome, and one of the reasons I've come to love gaming as much as I have.

My first game was Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy. My first console was an original Xbox. Got it right as the 360 came out. The we got a Wii, and I somehow managed to be an obnoxious CoD nub. On a Wii. Go figure. Then I got a PSP as soon as the Vita came out, and then a 360 as soon as the One was announced. Now, however, I am a PC gamer. I had been playing on a PC I had thrown together with outdated scraps for a year, and I finally built my first PC yesterday (http://pcpartpicker.com/p/vqxN99). It is my baby and I love it.
