just recently i purchased cod 4. happy as a kid in a candy store, i play a few hours the first day it came out without any problems. so the next day i go down to my dungeon with much anticipation to blow an other couple of hours engrossed in c o d euphoria only to get kick in the ding ding by my xbox. yes it is true the red ring of death is back in macman's world:cry:. when i go to gamespot tomorrow, with a crazed look in my eye, i will be walking out with my official 5th xbox. i've said it before and i'll say it again, i would go through 100 xbox's before i buy 1 ps3. the games and online are just to srong to abandon my xbox on something as silly as money:P.

call me a fanboy, i don't care because everyone can visually see sony about to crash and burn. recently i went to ps3's page on gamespot to see what exclusive games got a rating of 9 or better. the results just made me lmfao. 0 thats right 0, xbox currently has 4 and the wii with 3. and people can argue the fact that they have games coming out that will be 9 or better(maybe). the fact is that metal gear may come to xbox because of poor sales with the hard ware. why would a publisher stay exclusive to a system that is 7 millions units short of each competitor. also square might bring the ff series over to the xbox as well. this is all major blows to fanboys and employees of sony.

i've been away from gamespot for a small time. i missed getting on and being opinionated, so i'm back. my recent disappearance has been do to moving into my new home, with help from friends including ice. getting moved in wasn't so much as a problem as getting everything set up(still working on it to this day). the major contributor to my lack of time on gamespot goes to halo. what a great game. every free minute i get i want to pop in halo and play till my fingers are numb.

nothing says morn the one's we lost from the tragedy of 9/11 like a rap feud. if there is a feud in rap it usually involves 50 cent. this time its 50 vs. kanya west that have started the new feud with there new albums that were released simultaneously on septemper 11th. it all started when 50 cent said he would retire if west would out sell him. usually i wouldn't care so much if 50 called some body out because he does it so much but honestly i'm not a fan of kanya west. kanya is an out spoken loud mouth that needs to learn his place and shut up and he's a cry baby (mtv vma). 50's new album is reminiscent of old school rap with a gangster sound that everyone is use to, west's is a similar sound that has a couple catchy songs with a bunch of gibberish. i'm personally a fan of 50 cent so i hope he pimp slaps kanya west right across his glass jaw.

the wife and i just recently closed on a house and i couldn't be more excited. the house has 3 bedrooms, a huge living room, a big yard for the daughter to play in, but more than anything else it has a game room dedicated to yours truly. the whole house is for the wife to decorate but the game room is mine to play around with. since i'll be spending a lot of time down there it should be decorated with chicago bears memorabilia from wall to wall and the big screen and xbox 360 will be down there as well. the only thing that kinda sucks is the day we will get our keys is september 25. if your not sure what is so significant about that date, its the day halo 3 comes out. i'll have to play very limited for the first week, which sucks,but the xbox live community should feel lucky that they get a week head start on macman78:D.

this past sunday tiger woods won the pga championship. this puts him at 13 major victories in the pga to date. tiger posted a 7 under round on friday that catapulted him to the top of the leader board and he never looked back. there were a few that tried to contest tiger on suday, like woody austin and ernie els, but fell short. the record of 18 majors held by jack nicholas is in reachfor tiger to not only beat but shatter the record. tiger shows no signs of slowing down when it comes to winning. the 31 year old seems to be playing at his peak every year(is that even possible!!!!!!!!!!) and seems like he's got another 20 years of competitive golf in him. GO TIGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have to admit i'm a bit of an achievement whore. not to the point where i go out and buy games just to get the achievement points but i do go for the achievements in all the games i play. i will play the game longer, play it on the hardest setting, or yes i'll even go on the internet to find out what i have to do just to get an achievement. i just got the 10,000 point in lego star wars 2 and the achievement was for episode 6 complete(50 points). i know 10,000 isn't a big number in the world of xbox but for me its definitely a video game mile stone. i also think its not to bad for a person with a 9 to 5 all year long, wife and a kid.

its hard to get excited for preseason football, the first string barley plays, games don't count, and everyone who matters is at half speed cause they don't want to get hurt. i got a sense of excitement when the hall of fame game was on yesterday, almost like a child after thanksgiving knowing that christmas is about a month away. the steelers played the saints and it was an ok game, big ben had a long pass for 50 yards and some 4th stringer mutilated another 4th stringer in the last quarter of the game. besides the game its self the first preseason game means fantasy football draft parties, checking out your team everyday to anticipate the season, and everyone will be getting ready for another great year of football.

last night i had a chance to go see the movie everyone has been talking about, transformers. my prediction early in the summer was, with all the blockbusters this summer, transformers would be top dog. you know what, i was right. this movie has everything a guy would want, simple story line, violence, bad ass cars, and hot chicks. the great thing is they stay true to the storyline that was in the cartoons and the comics which is lacking in most comic book movies these days. micheal bay did a great job bringing the transforms to life. the interaction between humans and robots is very realistic. you would never think that they where talking to a green screen, or what ever method mr. bay used. all the acters and actresses shined in this movie but the two that stand out for sure is shia labeouf and megan fox. i don't know why everyone is a hater when it comes to shia but i think he did a great job. he makes you laugh with his corky, dorky character and then becomes a bit of a hard ass buy the end of the movie. megan fox, well other then the obvious reasons that kept my eyes on the screen, she did a great job becoming a character of a chick you wouldn't mess with. i hope with everything they invested and everything the got in return with this movie, the talks of a number 2 starts because this movie deserves another go around.

the two-time pro bowl linebacker will be at training camp in person after agreeing wednesday to sign a one-year contract with the bears for the 2007 franchise tender amount of $7.2 million. i couldn't be happier, although i had mixed reactions when i first heard the news. he held out for such a long time it almost made me despise the man but with tank johnson gone we needed lance to step up, be a man and just sign the damn contract. lance provides great strength for the bears and will help substantially throught the season. well any way this means that everyone on the roster, for the chicago bears, is signed and ready for pre-season. now the focus can all be on the prize of repeating the their nfc championship and become super bowl champs instead of chumps.
