So yeah. I'd particularly appreciate any female input as the recipient is female.

Basically I've ****ed up with my ex. I want her back. I believe this is achievable (albeit it's going to take more than a poem, But it shows I'm serious, right?...). I want to see what you lot make of it first. Too soppy? Plain crap? Most amazing thing you've read? Any input is appreciated. Thanks. (worth mentioning I hate poetry. It doesn't interest me at all. So it is probably rubbish lol):

Through all the years.

With all the loneliness and tears.

In my head is darkness, my own little tomb.

Knowing nothing more, other than doom and gloom.

When suddenly, the brightest light appeared.

I've never seen such a thing before, is it to be feared?

My eyes finally adjust to see such beauty. The gem of all gems, worth so much more than a mere ruby.

It's an entity no eyes deserve to see.

But for some reason it decides to show itself to me.

It has skin that would make a starlit sky look bleak.

A personality that would make any man weak.

A voice cries out "Go ahead, Mark. It's yours for the taking!".

But being scared and wary I panic. Setting my demise in the making.

It all starts to crumble.

Everything turns sour.

Perhaps I should have been more humble

But no. I push myself towards the final hour.

"What a fool you are! You've blew it now!" I say.

As I look for help, to take this despair away.

"You blew the most amazing thing you'll ever have." I sigh.

A tear appears at the blink of an eye.

Nope.

There's half of it I guess.
