Metal Gear Solid 4-Stealth/third person shooter that has an excellent story. (lots of cutscenes) It got a 10/10 on gamespot.

Resistance: Fall of Man-Takes place around WWII and instead of WWII happening an allien race (Chimera) tries to took over the world. 40 players can play online.

Resistance 2-Sequel, has giant boss fights, 60 players online, and 8 player co-op.

Killzone 2-Gritty FPS of a war between two factions. Has a cover system, excellent AI and graphics. Can have 32 players online and is clas s based.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune-A third person shooter in which you are stranded on an island. Also has platforming.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves-Sequel. Has way more areas to go, co-op, and multiplayer. Is a longer game than first. It is the VGA's Game of the Year

Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction-Platformer that mixes shooting with crazy weapons and platforming

Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time-Sequel to first.

Demon's Souls-A RPG that you pick from different clas ses. It is a difficult and rewarding game. You can give hints by dropping message on the ground if you have online and if your hint gets recommended you get health back. If you die you must restart the whole level. There is no pause button. Only for the hardcore gamers but is a great game. It also is gamespot's 2009 Game of the Year

Heavenly Sword-Think God of War execpt with a chick, is rated teen, and is not as good. Short game, and is still good.

God of War Collection (Updated PS2 games)-2 remakes of excellent PS2 games. It's Greek mythology, there is hack n slash and plenty of gore. Also comes with the God of War 3 demo.

MLB 09: The Show (also on PS3 and PS2)-The best MLB game.

Warhawk-Online only game that you have planes, tanks, jeeps, and others. Fast paced and fun. Very popular game.

Valkyria Chronicles-Strategy RPG that has a great combat system and amazing visuals.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma (remake of first NG game)-Remake of the first. Is a hard game, and you hack n slash. Lots of Gore

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 (has bonus features that 360 version does not have)-Sequel. Has co-op but no gore.

inFAMOUS-Superhero/Supervillian game. Relies on choices that make you good/evil. You have electric powers and you can climb up building.

Motorstorm-Racing game that is very popular. Fun for all racing fans.

Socom:Confrontation-Online only tactical third person shooter. Very popular on PS3 and the bug/ glitches have been patched. For the hardcore

i've been having a blast with Batman AA and LittleBigPlanet. I decided to keep Batman and scored a perfect disc for $35. Can't wait to check out the exclusives.

Thanks for the help guys. I never had a Playstation 2 and PS3 and all the games are totally new to me, so I'm open to anything. I always played my brothers 360 so im really interested in exclusives.

My parents got a Wii and it's pluged into a big lcd and looks ok. is it worth the $20 for the s-video adapter??

I like very much. I downloaded another video game app earlier and this one blows doors over that. i wonder if it's available for ipod touch. my girlfriend has one of the those but not an iphone.

Yeah, as game apps go this one is the best I've seen. Should work fine on the iPod touch... all of them except 1st gen.

If they could work Tempest into the mix somehow I'd be on board.

Just downloaded it (free). What I immediately noticed is that it extends beyond Gamefly subscribers and is more "gamer community at large" oriented which is cool. Of course there are obviously perks for gamefly users but being one isn't necessary... So far it's got news, release dates, reviews, cheats, codes, specs... pretty much the gamut.
