More rumors being taken as confirmation by worried fanboys. The only fact is that Konami and Kojima have said it's a Playstation 3 exclusive title. Could this change? Sure. In this era of consoles, exclusivity should be marked with an * because when certain companies are ready, willing and able to write huge checks, anything can happen.
Combine this with the relatively small installed base of the PS3 (compared to other consoles), and the high costs associated with game development, and you have a situation where it is not possible for developers to recoup development costs, let alone make profit. There isn't much money to be made in exclusivity right now, so making a game multiplatform is increasingly possible. Unless, of course, Sony is willing to aid Konami financially, which Sony has been unwilling to do thus far.
Sony has to start locking down exclusive games because if you can get the best PS3 games elsewhere, why own the more expensive PS3? Sony needs to start making some moves before Microsoft opens up that famous check book of their's, because they have, and they will again.
Still, at present time, MGS4 is a Playstation 3 exclusive, and until Konami confirms otherwise, take what you read with a grain of salt.

You may be right and I hopeit gets portedtoo! This way I can point and laugh at the 360 for once about getting a horrible looking, downgraded, choppy port. PS3 is the way to go and I have no clue why anyone post stupid **** like this in the PS3 forums!
You know what else, Bioshock is coming out this holiday for PS3. I got sources, I can't tell you who they are though, so don't doubt me! It's true, you gullible people who accepteverything you read or hear!
Don't get mad at me I'm a PS3 supporter. You may want to direct your concerns toward Sony. Pretending like they won't let it happen and bashing the messenger won't change a thing. I'm in this PS3 thing for 1100.00 big and beginning to feel a little foolish.:(
