2K WWE games have been ... mediocre to say the least.

I played 24 which apparently was a huge improvement over previous versions and the game still feels lacking, it doesn't know if it wants to be an Arcade game or a Simulation game, Universe mode(which is this kind of sandbox build your own weekly shows mode) is still the same as it was 10 years ago, some wrestlers look really good, some look awful, the customization for wrestlers are limited and buggy AF, the Showcase mode it's frustrating and not fun at all, MyGM is barebones compared to what you should be able to do, not to mention My Faction you know, the Give us more Money mode that every sport game needs to have, and a bunch of etc.

This version looks to be the same with a bunch of features that were removed and now they are being "finally" back with no real improvement ... so yeah, expect another 7 with this new open world thing being either a one and done, or something that will stay forever in buggy land, and pretty much everyone saying "a step in the right direction".

You know ... sports games.

That actually looks good ... i wish i had enough time to sink my teeth on this kind of games like i used to ... but i barely have enough time to keep up with SF6 and just a single player game that takes me months to finish, and my backlog is huge. Still going to keep it in mind.
