Another gripe. Whose idea was it to make the heavies virtually invincible? Its no secret enemies are tougher than in FC3 - they hit harder and are harder to kill. The addition of the Hunters is great - those bastards are tough. But the heavies now seem able to take just about everything in your armoury and still keep coming. So far I have only been able to kill them with a direct hit from an RPG. Grenades, C4, machine guns don't seem to faze them. Every encounter with a heavy now seem to be a mini boss fight.Or am I just a very bad shot?
The save system is even more broken than FC3. Its literally a lottery where you will respawn after dying or closing down a game. Checkpoints are meaningless. In the prologue, I counted at least 5 checkpoints, but every time I died or left the game I returned to just after that cutscene in Pagan Min's palace. Another time I saved the game in a liberated outpost, which is supposed to be an automatic save point, but respawned halfway across the country back in Banapur. Is it too much too ask that you return to approximately the same place where you left the game?
Yes, the guy picked up a copy of Mortal Kombat and shot the kids with it. Clearly the NRA is even more detached from reality than I thought. Here in Australia after years of trying we're finally getting an R Rating that will enable us to play all games as the makers intended without cuts to the violence. I hope the US doesnt regress in the opposite direction because of gun-happy fools.
Sorry, cant swallow that. A game for the latte-sippers who coo about its non-violence and artistic themes. Gameplay value: nil. Excitement: nil. In fact I wouldnt call it a game at all, rather its a musical experience with visual stuff to keep your eyes occupied. . Put it in a category for artistic games or games that make people feel all warm & fuzzy by all means and it would probably win hands down deservedly, but best game of the year? Ahead of games like Borderlands 2? Halo 4? Far Cry 3? or Dishonored? No way on earth.
Dude, I'm up to 100 hours+ on this thing all on my ownsome.. Aint nothing stopped me yet. Dont even bother to use Gunzerker most of the time. My awesome weapons at Level 36 just mow everything down.
Skyrim has more bugs than any other 10 games combined, yet its metascore average is 9.87 and the average time spent playing is upwards of 75 hours!!! Go figure.
Yelena is easy. Typhoon her at close range when she uncloaks in front of you, that damages her a lot, then she goes down with one blast of heavy rifle.
