Different characters, different times/consoles, I guess that this is kinda unfair, since the character Tidus had the chance to be developed in a ps2 techonology: more details, expressions, voice and other stuff. Now Cloud, well, i guess he was a lego block, but his attitude said everything. Also, I think that Tidus is okay, but he's way to picky.

Tidus: Blitzball star, but to much ^_^ crybaby.

Cloud: Traumatic hero, a fused memory,  COOL, but very -_- silent.

and the winner is: Cloud, with low tech showed much more.  But hey! this doesn´t mean I just hate Tidus!

Like the lovely annibal, I grab a chocobo, then open his cranium, cut a bit of bird brain, cook it, put two chocobo eggs togheter with brains, serve it with marshmallows, and a cup of "inglish" tea.
 Then, during the tasty meal, put a tv in front of him running a documentary of the hottest woman in the worl: "margaret tatcher".

After that, triturate the chocobo and feed it to monblac... nothing more, nothing less.

Awww. For the record: Dancing Quenn, ABBA, was playng during the entire thing.
