New coldplay album

Hello all! This is my unfortunately late review of Viva la Vida, the new album by coldplay out a few days ago. Now, Coldplay. Yeah it's just coldplay again and that's a bad or a good thing let me say that first of all. So if you haven't liked coldplay than it is likely you will not like this album, however if your not terribly bitter and stubborn you will even if you do "hate" coldplay. It's an album that has more notoriety right of the bat, it's got itunes backing it and of course that means it will sell well. But the ambient sound in coldplays album are undeniably something to be experienced and that is what can be said for it, that and the rhythm. Those are the differences from their previous albums and the songs that feature them most prominently are well defined and truthfully I would say as far as I'm concerned this is the most worthwhile album for past fans because of the high contrast from previous ones, it should be a dramatic change but an enjoyably wowing one. From the pairing of the stylistically different but nearly identical Lost! and Lost? you know that things will be done differently with this album. Everythings sharper, it's forceful (comparitively) and it's quite satisfying because you feel safe but at the same time it's addressing issues. There's a whole lot of use of things that feel thrown in but they're made to work and maybe that's just what this album is, an assortment of ideas hammered into place but that's a good thing in my mind. Coldplay's kept their independent spirit that seemed lost in x and y and they've come out with an appealing package that will at the very least give you a rush. As for any of these tracks being the best song you've ever heard or the most meaningful, no not really but it's thrilling and I would buy it again if I could forget listening to them.
