I think the line between wanting to help one candidate and hurting another is often blurry and not always linked. Looking back at 1980, the Iranians were clearly trying to embarrass Jimmy Carter by holding on to the hostages but I don't think the leap can automatically be made that they "wanted" Ronald Reagan to win. Similarly, I don't think Russia "wants" Donald Trump as president because the policy he is talking about is detrimental to Russia. Fracking, strengthening the US military, and strengthening the American economy will not be beneficial in the long run to the Russian regime.
The claims of the entire Intelligence Apparatus of the USA say otherwise. Got any data to show them up?
Zero which was the point of prefacing my statement with" I think" as opposed to "I know." Since we've brought the topic up, the zero data I have is the same amount of data the Intelligence Apparatus of the USA had when they used the WMD threat as a precursor to invade Iraq. I'm not shoving my head in the sand nor am I in denial. It is a lock to say Russia hacked the DNCs emails and leaked them to embarrass her and it probably helped Donald Trump to certain degree but unless they hacked voting machines and the minds of over forty million US voters, you can't blame the loss of the election on the Russians. It is not wrong to question the validity of the intelligence anymore than it is to question our leaders. I would like see the FBIs proof regarding Russian involvement the same way I would like to see President Trump's claims that Obama ordered his tower wiretapped.
