This is $1600 AUD. The store just rang me up and said they are replacing the mother board because they don't have that in stock, I didn't catch what motherboard but he said he would prefer it, but he also said the motherboard supports 8gb ram but when they connected the 8gb, the computer did not start up, neither did it start up with 6gb but it starts up with 4gb. So now I have downgraded ram a bit, better motherboard and might upgrade the videocard with the spare cash left over from the RAM or I will invest the money in a better CPU. What do you all think? Also this is at a place called Geek Central located next to highpoint

Hey I just ordered a custom built PC today intended for primary gaming, nothing to fancy but here are the parts I bought and was just wondering if the forum here could give me feedback on the value of the PC and how well it will run. Intel Q8200 Core2 Quad CPU Asus P5KPL-1600 Motherboard Team 2GB DDR2 800MHz x4 (8gb in total) ECS GTS250 1GB Video Card (Assistant told me this is one of the best on the market, true/not true?) Seagate 1Tb SATA Hard Drive Apower 650W PSU Thermaltake Xaser 6 MX Case Kaspersky Internet Sec 2009 OE MS Vista Home Prem 64 SP1 OEM Warranty - 2 years partys & labour on system. Total price: $1,664.00 Accessories: G15 Logitech Keyboard Razor deathadder mouse (need to get a good soundsystem and pref. 22'+ widescreen) anything else you think would be good to add the would increase preformance or benifit me please post. Thanks! regards. Matt
