First of all, have you got a warranty? You might be able to get it fixed...
How old is your DS? It could just be worn out.
Have you contacted Nintendo to see what they have recommended?
You could spend some money to get the screen completely cleaned and fixed, but it could be expensive.
If none of these things work, you should really consider buying a new DS.
Did you press too hard on the touch screen? Sometimes that causes it to freeze...
