@dts15: Because they are right, also then don't work in the company in the first place, but you wouldn't be able to create such content in terms of making money from it in the first place as you don't own the ip for it, well their creations would be basically fan art instead of canon.
Unless you make it public domain, aka nobody owns it, but everyone can use it to make a profit, fair competition, who does better gets the most.

@omegajw82: IP ban doesn't do anything, region locking also doesn't do much. Though every little bit helps, because there are loads of monkeys who have no clue what they are doing, besides just cheat.
Ip ban, region lock, hardware id ban, account ban, cross reference all of those to get even more of those bans, and the only ones are left, who can change their ip (including region lock won't matter), spoof their hardware id so that they can still use the same hardware, and make new accounts.
They really should add buy to play as an option, or verification system with your bank account for example, you spend 1 buck, and when it's verified you get it back. Think paypal used something like that, if I wanted to verify my new virtual card (though wasn't needed later anymore).

@voldrik: You mean their reaction times and aiming was flawless, basically you were playing against cheats. That's what you're doing in strategy games anyways, the devs just cheat the bots up on higher difficulty, artificial difficulty is pointless and annoying, if you want a proper challenge, you want unpredictability and a way to react to it, like a human you are with 40ms delay in reaction time to what is actually happening.
They probably saw some snippets from Superman animated where he had space suit and went back to where his home planet was, though when they said it out loud that they were going back to Krypton or came back from Krypton, not specifying something that everybody knew already that it was blown up.
Peeps who just pop in, in the middle of it, probably had no idea about the context of it.
@Barighm: "when it works" comes down to the user, if a gpu fries after uncapped fps, well two reason, use fps limiters or vsync, or don't heat up the gpu aka don't crank the game settings so high that the gpu will melt, but that shouldn't happen in terms if there are proper throttling and fan profiles for the gpus, it should never happen.
@Deedubau: This ain't the first time a game's main menu has fried some peeps gpus, because the main menu was running at 400-1000fps, basically who ever made that gpus throttling for temp and/or fan speed profiles, wanted that to happen.
@phattsao: That poorly made hardware would have lasted longer, if they hadn't fried it, but it's the users fault for not capping their fps by default, well technically is the gpu driver makers fault, because most peeps have no idea how to handle pc hardware properly.
