This is a good idea in some ways, but you lose when you want to play a game on your laptop somewhere where there isn't a fast internet connection and not only lag issues but server down times like steam will be frustrating. But this is a good idea for rentals for a pc market and trial versions. This won't catch on right away, but down the line could become huge if they adress a few issues
