I remember trying out the trial for the PS NOW when it first came out and I really wasn't impressed by it. I think I tried it out on my PC as well just to see if there was any difference on the TV in my basement or a computer in the upper levels of my house.

From what I can recall, it basically is allowing streaming of games in the Playstation back catalog right? What was consistent across my PC and the Playstation was no matter what time I was playing it, after about an hour or so the visuals of the game would degrade- kind of like when a youtube video is buffering and it's not playing at the maximum quality. This sucked when playing games like Silent Hill or Resident Evil which have a lot of darkness in them. Then I'd get a warning saying I'd be booted out in five minutes because the signal wasn't strong enough. It did that for as long as I had the trial on every game, any location I played.

I don't think it's a perfect system, I think streaming these games is a very difficult thing to do unless Sony's does something about the consistency of quality. I can stream Netflix without any hitches or degradation of quality, so doing games in a similar manner must be a bit more difficult. I think the idea is sound, but I don't think we're quite there yet- or Sony doesn't have the resources to make it 100% perfect for everyone all over the globe. Not sure what other people's experiences are, I'm sure some people can run it relatively fine. That said I hardly know anyone who uses PS NOW, I don't think this is something that people really want. Really, this could be something they lump into the PS Plus subscription where it stands.

I'd personally rather if I pay a subscription that I can download any game I want, not have to stream it, and then have access to the game for as long as my subscription is valid - block me out of playing the games if I cancel my subscription. Just my two cents.

I got kind of disenchanted by gaming by the end of the last generation/beginning of this generation of consoles. What got me back in was the amount of indie titles coming out on PC. The games were getting a lot better but I wasn't "fully" convinced. When P.T. game out, I was ridiculously impressed by how a simple experience had so much depth and nuance- and it was just a teaser, not a full game. That got me a bit more interested in gaming as a medium. By the time The Witcher 3 came out however, I was back in. That game owned my life for a while.

Silent Hill - especially because of what they could have done with that PT demo. Del Toro, Kojima and Junji Ito working together is just a ridiculous prospect.

Castlevania - Lords of Shadows 1 was pretty good, Mirror of Fate was okay, and 2 was a bit of a mess, got boring pretty quickly. If they re-did the series I'd say work on the first Lords of Shadow as a starting point and improve it's failings.

Parasite Eve - Would be cool, but I feel they'd need to really update the combat system, maybe make it more akin to The Witcher 3 or the last Final Fantasy? Or, make it like Mass Effect 2, a third person shooter with RPG elements.

WarCraft - I hate to be "that guy" but as amazing as WoW is, I really liked WarCraft 3. I wish they'd return the franchise to it's RTS roots in a future installment- maybe as a side series or something since WoW doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

Legacy of Kain - One of my all time favorite series from a story perspective- and while I think the series ended on possibly one of the only ways they could end it (everything kind of comes full circle), a remake of the series (like they've been doing with Spyro and Crash) would be amazing. I can dream, right?
