With summer drawing to a close and fall slowing creeping upon us, it looks like that promised rush of game releases has already begun. For me it all started with The Darkness. Which I've been hearing about every since the 360's release back in '05 but it didn't catch my attention until I started reading reviews about it. I'm actually trying to at least finish the game before I get too deep into Bioshock which I picked up last week. And just yesterday I picked up Blue Dragon which I don't even plan on opening until I get at least get halfway through Bioshock. And now with Halo 3, The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Guitar Hero III, Mass Effect, Assassins Creed and Rock Band on the horizon, I'm starting to think that saving up my sick days was a good idea.

Heath Ledger? As the Joker? I'm still not too convinced about that decision but I admit, I kinda like the "realistic" look of the character. Making the scars on his face form a creepy smile seems like a pretty smart idea.

 

 At the site, "ibelieveinharveydenttoo.com" you would have found a campaign poster to elect Harvey Dent for District Attorney.

The site was recently taken down and replaced with an error message. But if you highlight the page, you'll see "Ha, Ha, Ha" spread all throughout with a few random letters hidden within the H's and the A's.  If you put those letters together it reads "See You In December". Teaser trailer, maybe? Guess we'll have to wait and see. And if you're wondering, yes it's a slow morning at work and I am bored.

 

I was listening to episode #58 of the OXM (Official Xbox Magazine) podcast
this afternoon and I found out that I won a 22" HDTV. Happy Birthday, to me!

Man, $499 for the 4GB  iPhone and $599 for the 8GB model! The features sound pretty solid but not even I can see myself putting down that much for a phone.

Man, it is hot as balls here at work today! Our AC has been out since Monday and I'm sweating like a whore in church. Just one more hour to go.....

It took me a while to realize that this was an ad for eyeglasses. Man, if only we could get away with ads like this in the US. Pretty funny!

I just finished watching 2001: A Space Odyssey. Or I guess I should say, "tried to finish watching". I was nodding off to sleep during the movie from some medicine that I've taken earlier. Usually when you fall asleep during a movie you can still follow what's going on once you wake up, right? Not this time. This movie has to have some of the most random imaging I've ever seen in a film. The first time I woke up all I remember seeing was this tall, black, rectangular object, then some psychedelic light show that looked like something straight out a planetarium, and finally some old man lying in his bed in an all white room with that tall, rectangular thing standing in front of him. He reaches out towards it, the camera cuts to the object, and when the camera goes back to the bed there is nothing there but a large bubble with what looked like an alien fetus with giant eyes staring aimlessly into space.

"What the hell kind of medicine is this?", I thought to myself. I really want to see the movie all the way through because of all the references that other people make about it. Don't think I can bring myself to do it though.
