[QUOTE="marcus_chief"] [QUOTE="seeddrmmr"]No plot? What about the FOUR novels I have sitting on my bookshelf right now? What about the three games that fit in seamlessly with the novels? This topic fails. So does the creator.GlassDominion
thank you. really the halo story stands pretty good alone. now if you read the novels and the "iris" thing that bungie did. plus the terminals, you get a really great storyline
once again this was NOT about the halo universe. it was about halo3.
it had barely enough plot to fill 5 hours of a run n gun game.
about all it answered was what the thing on earth did.
my understanding of what the ark is, remains incomplete, what happened to the forrunner etc.
to help you out, the ark is where one can fire all of the halo rings. the forerunners (humans)fired the halo rings after they made them to hopefully killed the flood, now you are probably thinking ' if halo destroys human life, how come ther are humans' well they put some forerunnners in onyx ( a planet that also serves as a secret shield agaisnt the halo rings)
i know you don't like the idea about reading the books and all that, but imagine everything in the halo universe was a game, including the books, you can't expect to know whats going on if youskip some games (books) like you can't expect to know whats going on if you only play halo and halo3 and you skip halo 2
