When Sony began ads for the PSPgo, I too was excited. But its gotten too much hype and not enough truth. I borrowed my friends PSPgo and i was appalled. The sliding screen has a major flaw that the orginal PSP had. It slides directly over the other layer. Like the original analog nub, dirt and dust will collect in there once you slide it. Since the direct wires to the screen and to the controls are there, the screen will screw up once you slide it. If you slide it too hard, the wires will rip and you will have two halves on absolutely nothing. The no-UMD intiative by the creators is also quite bad. While there are many games on the playstation network, it excludes itself fromgames coming out on UMD.The PSP-3000,however, is perfect. It has the perfect balance of design and fuction. You can download and play UMD's. Also the nub problem has beed solved on the 3000. So in my opinion, it is better to stick to the 3000. But that's just my opinion.
