metroid prime is not rare.......
The Trilogy Collectors Edition on Wii is considered rare, not the individual games by themselves. Also, I think I may have incorrectly labeled this thread, it should be "most expensive games"

I hated cross edge ._. legit the only game I resold from last gen.
there's a difference between rarest and most expensive, and I think some of my overlap, but I would probably say some of my arcade pcbs and/or shooters
battle garegga original japanese PCB ($500-600)
armed police batrider korean version b PCB ($350-450)
dodonpachi daioujou black label extra (xbox 360) ($70-150) - the reason it's so rare is because it used stolen code from the ps2 port and the company didn't make more than 1 print run because they were caught.
muchi muchi pork (first print run - non platinum edition) ($90-170)
moon: remix rpg adventure ($70-120)
So your saying you hate when you actually have to WORK in Cross Edge as opposed to other RPG games just holding your hand throughout it? Yeah, I can't wait to play Cross Edge. I know I said I had it but the reality is I bought it online and it is currently being shipped to me.
What are the rarest video games you own, and how much do they sell for used/new? I'm curious because I got a few rare games myself. Note that all new/used prices are based on Amazon/Ebay listings. 1: Metroid Prime Trilogy: Collectors Edition (Wii) - A game that was released in limited quantities, It mixed the 3 Metroid Prime games together with the Wii controls from MP3 Price: $209.99 (New) 70$ish (Used) 2: Metroid Prime (Gamecube) - One of the games in the aforementioned trilogy above, but the earlier one released on the Nintendo Gamecube. Price: (For Gamecube release) 70$ (New) 15$ish (Used) 5: Sonic Adventure 2: Battle (Gamecube) A port of Sonic Adventure 2 that was originally on the Dreamcast and released on the Nintendo Gamecube in 2002. Price: (For Gamecube release) $137.88 (New) 20-30$ (Used) 6: Kororinpa Marble Mania (Wii) A game that was released in 2009, and when the company "Hudson" (Who I believe worked on the Mario Party games) Was bought by Konami they canceled all the projects of Hudson and this game is no longer available brand new, it is out of print. Set during the Original Trilogy era, the game is the previously untold story of a ragtag ensemble of battle-hardened rogues and scoundrels assembled by Han Solo. Now for the first time ever in Star Wars Battlefront, you can customize your character, select your weapons, choose your abilities and create a different experience every time you play. Price: $314.99 (New) 64.99 (Used) 11 (My favorite of the bunch): Cross Edge Nothing sets a game collector's heart a-flutter quite like obscure, limited run Japanese RPGs. Cross Edge, published by Nippon Ichi Software America, fits the bill perfectly. A crossover RPG featuring characters from Capcom, Namco Bandai, Gust Corporation, and the publisher Nippon Ichi, Cross Edge is a traditional Japanese RPG that you may not have even heard of. It launched in 2009, right in the midst of the first Infamous and Prototype games, and copies were hard to come by from the beginning. If you love RPGs and you missed Cross Edge, well...prepare to pay a pretty hefty catching up fee. In early July of 2010, it was confirmed through NIS America's forums that Tim Langdell and his company Edge Games had begun legal action against NIS America due to the name of the game. Tim Langdell is notorious for suing video game companies over properties that contain the word "Edge". However, since his removal from the IGDA and a court decision throwing out his trademark claim to the word "edge", he has been ordered to give financial compensation to any products damaged by his litigation - including Cross Edge, and to no longer attempt to obstruct their sale. NIS America has not resumed sales of the game as of May 2012, however. In a nutshell, The game is out of print.
Price: $150 (New/Sealed) $100 (Used) 12: Pikmin 2 (Gamecube) Believe it or not I got my copy of this game for 2 dollars at a garage sale, and it still works great. Price: $52.88 (New) $31.74 (Used) 13: Luigi's Mansion. Ah, what a gem of a game this is. Instead of playing as Mario, you're playing as Luigi in a Mansion full of ghosts trying to save Mario, I've beaten this game countless times and still have a blast. Price: $99.99 (New) $24.99 (Used) 14: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (Gamecube) Set in an era after the events in The Ocarina Of Time, this incredible adventure takes a different young hero named Link on an all-new quest. Link's sister Aryll has been taken by a monstrous bird. Link sets sail to track down the bird and get her back -- setting him on a quest that will make him as much a legend as his namesake. As you face monsters and try to think your way around obstacles, you'll earn the Wind Waker -- a special conductor's baton that controls the winds. Price: $109.99 (New) $38.80 (Used)
15: Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix Shake your thing to over 25 dance-flavored songs, from classic Nintendo themes to familiar favorites Five difficulty levels -- dancers of all abilities will be able to get into the groove Grab a friend and throw your own dance party -- see who's got the best moves Have fun while getting in shape! The special Workout feature tracks the calories burned while playing Price: $71.31 (New) $1.93ish (Used) 16: SUPER SMASH BROS... MEEEEEELLLLLEEEEE! Ah, what a game, I love this game. More characters and stages are unlocked as hidden objectives are met, and coins rewarded for playing in all modes can be spent on a capsule toy machine. Price: $123.88 (New) $48.99 (Used) 17: Resident Evil (Gamecube) The Gamecube remake of the horrid Playstation 1 game with the horrible voice acting. Price: $99.99 (New) $15.00ish (Used) 18: Resident Evil 4 (Gamecube) The story of Resident Evil 4 follows the U.S. government special agent Leon S. Kennedy, who is sent on a mission to rescue Ashley Graham, the U.S. President's daughter who has been kidnapped by a sinister cult. Traveling to a remote rural area of Europe, Leon fights hordes of violent villagers and mutated monsters, and reunites with the mysterious spy Ada Wong. The game pioneered and popularized the "over the shoulder" third-person view perspective in video games. Price: $53.99 (New) $10.90 (Used) So that's all the games I can think of that would probably be considered rare, what rare games do you guys have?
I don't know why but I find myself getting bored REALLY quickly with any FPS game (Except Doom, Quake, or any of those older games)
For example, today I played the Titanfall Beta, which is a pretty good game, but even though it definitely innovates and freshens up the FPS genre, I still got bored with it after two or three games, I don't know if it's because I used to play too much FPS, or what's causing it, but it sucks because I don't know why I get bored faster then other people when it comes to new FPS games like Titanfall.
I'm not saying Titanfall is a bad game, but do I just happen to be wired that I get bored quicker then most people? Or is it something else?
Been on Titanfall today for a few hours and I can safely say in my opinion that it is boring as sin and aside from a few new mechanics it is basicallly COD in a sci-fi skin with mechs and wall running added.....no thanks.
And i agree FPS games are getting boring ..why the hell can we not have a new NO One Lives Forever or something similar :(
Well, I used to play alot of CoD... maybe that's it?
I really think its more than that...as a PC gamer when i go though the games in the past few years that i have loved the most they all end up being small eastern european games early acess games and indie games....no AAA titles at all,i think the thing is for me and maybe you is that after playing do many AAA fps games you always get the "me too" feeling where each game basically ends up just like the next and the end result is all games feeling repetetive like you have done it all before and it is basically because you have, after 30 yers of gaming i am finally at a point where AAA games do not work for me anymore...sure there are a few everynow and then that hold my attention but those tend to be RPG's.
Maybe now is a good time to go out of your comfort zone and start trying the games you never usually would try...it worked great for me :P
That's funny because I just played Titanfall again and had a blast.
