Bad news, sounds like what happened to mine last week ive got a 40gb Fat with upgraded HDD to 300gb it kepted switching itself off after about 3mins i managed to back up all my saved game data fearing the worst. From what i can gather its an over heating issue b4 u get YLOD but its bascially toast. Theres a PC repair company acroos the road from me they are gonna sort it for me and give me a years warranty alot cheaper than SONY and at least i get to keep my console,then im gonna flog it and get a slim only option for me i think :-(

I agree with you all its too soon PS3 has still got plenty of life in it yet, Im thinking 2014 for PS4

I enjoyed the game sure the graphics aren't the best some of the movement and controls a bit dodgy but its cheap at the mo and i would recommend a play through

Hi guys hope someone can help not sure if this is technically a ps3 question but here we go, I want to pull a load of files off my ps3 i have a WD 1tb external HDD but i can't format it to FAT32 when i right click on the drive the only options i get is NTFS which is current format or exFAT, I know windows xp won't format it over 32gb but im running windows 7. Any help appreciated

40gb phat model had from 6 months after launch upgraded hdd to 320gb only go 2gb left at the min so i gotta do some shuffling around.

The demo seemed quite good fun some of the skill kills were inventive i like it,the main problem is same day release as killzone 3, So i think i might get in a few months when the price drops.

The trouble is you need to be good to get platinum on this game!

I never buy them some of the collectors editions are really cool the killzone 3 for example, the trouble is there way to expensive, all i really want is to play the game!
