Hi! Dont know if this a bug or deliberate made, but the new expand button on gamespot homepage for the "Updates" and "My Games" doesnt work as it should. Especially for "My Games".... The problem here is that The dropdown only works the first time im using it, not the second and the third etc. I have tried with empty my cookies and reopened the browser, but still it dosent work. (Note: I havent tried to reboot the computer...) The Game Updates seems to work as it should and I can even see here when im writing that the old one "dropdown" for My Games work perfectly here on the Forum page! Best! /Marq

Hi! Just wonder if this is right! when i changed my email address in prefs i noted "today" 2 days later that i got a new letter at my emailaddress a "Confirm your GameSpot registration". The email itself is refering that im a new gamespot member, which I AM NOT and hade to comfirm the registration. Talk about giving me a heart attack!!! First i thought that my member account were deleted or something... If now this email comfirmation is right, please change it in the "prefs" so the person who wish to change the email will get some information about that he/she must comfirm it! I didnt know and there must be others also. Best /Marq

I agree, i hate coming across two sentence reviews. Make it at least 200 minimum word. As for the thumbs down issue, i also agree, i think it should stay only if the person has to give a reason in a comment why they gave the thumbs down.serbsta69
I agree to increase minimum words for reviews to 200, but i think it would make it more difficult to do it for the old games from 80s and 90s (mostly for my on part, i have to refresh my old bad memory). To see it from the good part of it, it would be more interesting to read the old reviews:) As for the thumbs down issue, i would like to agree to 50 - 100 minimum words. Dont forget... its a comment not a new review!!!

Maybe a toolbar above every Union with some "my unions" dropdown menu, among other things?gakon5
I have being thinking about this now for sometime and i think this is very VERY good idea. And you could have like you said "other things", which could be useful when want to reach something quickly. And my thougths even go further then that... why not put the dropdown menu on the top of the page under the game tracking list?Which you even could modified yourself if you want!!! That way you would be able to reach (more and less) everything in gamespot not just from the unionpages, but from EVERY page you are within gamespot? Thoughts???

[QUOTE="gakon5"]If you need fast access to your Unions, you can add their boards to your favorites list. That way, you can just click the Forums button, and your Union boards are there at the top of the page.Agreb91

Yes that is the best way because you get right to where you need to go.

Nice to hear from all of you;D and yes... i could add it to the "favorites list" so it shows on the forumpage, but still it feels to much clicking. And In that case i could instead link all my unions to my browser. My thoughts was to add it directly on the unionpage so it becomes reachably directly. For me this gives me more of a logic and a better quick interactive view to reach the unions, but if it doesnt work to have it for example under the "union profile" or somewhere on the page... well... then i dont know.... I leave the thoughts opened...:)

Hi! A small suggestion for something that i have being irritating me for sometime now. I have something like 12 unions and everytime im being visiting one of the unions i always want to reach my other unions quickly. In this case i always need to "click" 3 times to reach next union. So... why not add some new buttons "My Unions", "Next Union" and "Previous Union" somewhere when you are inside a union. By doing this... both it will give the user less clicking, loading and waiting, and... it will reduce a lot of resources from the server!!! Thoughts??? If you find it interesting and nice to add i would be superbly joyful !D

How about keeping the sliders with the components, but then giving the user the option if they want to keep that score made from those numbers, or give it a new one (in .1)?SuperMooseman
Perfect idea!!! Exactly what i said for one week ago. Why not do that!?
Except that the old scoring system, on a fundamental level, was broken, as has been explained by myself, as well as various actual staff members of GS.Skylock00
To be honest i dont understand exactly what you mean with "broken". Probably because my main language is not English, but it doesnt matter in this case it works quite good anyway. But let assume the old scoring system is broken. Still you need (That what i think and what i do anyway) to compare all this components Graphics, Effects, Music, Voices, Sound, Gameplay, Value, if there is a similarity games to it, If there is series to it, Feedback, Idea, Script to the game, Platform, Future things etc. You have a whole bunch to compare with. And if one or more of this doesnt work you can just take it away or put a kinder score for that one. Of course i have to explain myself for everything. For me this is like review music or a movie and if i want to keep myself professional i need these components to review; in these case games. I can agree that the old score system is not perfect, but we could do it better! You could put more options into it; more alternative! For example you can put one "Html-checkbox" to each component, which you can decide if you wanna have them in you review or not. This average-rating-slide doesnt work for me. Maybe for some but not me. It feels like go from Hi-tech to Stone age! Well... i suppose you dont agree, i bid you a nice day;) //Marq

The thing that used to kill my Joysticks, was when id spend money on some crazy joystick thta had a million buttons and looked totally awesome. the things would last about 3 weeks of SWOS before theyd die.

Zipsticks for the win!

For my own interest i never liked your kind of joystick. I loved the Tac2 joystick best Tac2 If i remember everything correctly Tac2 hade to be produced in USA not in Taiwan/Kina to have the best quality. I suppose games like Lotus series, Silkworm and Waggle o mania broke my joysticks all the time:D //Marq
