Between Intel and AMD, I'd go for Intel. Though AMD is less expensive than Intel, I'd still pick Intel, for its reliability and durability. I believe intel processor would always outlive AMD processor. Just my 2 cents.
Yes, there are a lot of times where I really wanted something so bad that I did everything I can to achieve what I wanted. Sometimes my effort pays off but there were also a lot of times that it didn't. At times where I didn't get what I was hoping for, I just tell myself that it was not really meant for me. Accepting the undesired outcome keeps me back on track. :)
